Wonderful review, and the figure looks amazing - really wish I had the money for this. I've said this before but in years to come this will be one of the rarest and most highly priced figures from the line, the equivalent of the Denis Fisher Leela figure.

I can actually see how the face sculpt might be the same but there's a different emphasis in the paint job (nice eyework too, really captures Amy's spaced out look). Personally, I think Big Chief should have asked everyone to destroy the rooted hair head before they sent out the new one, just to remove it from the face of the planet.

The new head looks a lot closer to the origional we were shown as far as paint is concerned, BC could have saved a lot of aggrivation and lost sales if they'd paid closer attention to these details the first time. I applaud them for delivering a great new head, but it should never have been neccessary in the first place.

Yup, matt's is by far the most disappointing of the set. Tom's is my pretty good considering his age now

Even though Matt is my favourite Doctor he sure has one of the worst signatures ever. Its so bad.

Frankly I don't mind too much. Lots of celebrities have ridiculous looking signatures. What matters to me is that I know it's authentic.

damn sir! you are selling the hell out of this fig with new head sculpt. def more interested than i ever was, not in a rush to get her but will plot on it oneday to a have a complete BCS who fig collect for sure.

Haha yeah man I am, you've seen the comparisons, the figure with the new head is a gem. BCS deserves to sell their remaining stock.

The remaining amy stock is now on sale at BC, though the alt. headsculpt is extra, if you're going to bite on this one, now looks to be the time. Extra sculpt is a must.

Got my Amy head today! I am truly astounded at how great she turned out. I can totally see Karen in there now. Her face has so much more life now, even with a fairly passive expression. Really, truly over the moon. I tried to photograph her in natural light to really capture how well she turned out.
