I am a bit confused about their payment process, is a deposit required at the time the PO is placed and they request balance of payment when the figure is almost ready, or some other method?

A deposit is required. After that you can:

A.) Pay in full now
B.) Pay in installments
C.) Pay in full when it ships

I decided I have to have two of these so I put down a deposit on a second - can't wait to have two, one in the iconic coat, one in the suit playing violin.

Also I read on Gallifrey Base that Greggo said he's going to tone down the 5 o clock shadow on this release. Very cool move, glad they've listened to feedback.

yayyyyyyy! so great when a company listens to feedback. go BCS go! wants a sherlock really really bad, went with the 4th doc but the want for sherlock is still strong. arrrghhhhh must sell alot of tees or get a second job... STAT!

I would actually love a second Sherlock to have in coat and out of coat. But no way I can do that, sadly! LOL. So I'll just have to settle for changing it out from time to time. :)

I can't really afford it... but will sell some stuff and get the cash together. If this figure comes out well it will be my favourite figure ever. I love Sherlock.

The more I think about it the more I want them both. I know I can't really swing it but I seriously want them.

Do you mean Sherlock and Watson or two versions of Sherlock? I'm sure Watson won't sell out any time soon but I'm willing to bet Sherlock will be gone within the four months it took Tennant to sell out.

As much as I love this show and the character, this figure as it is right now looks too cartoony to me. If it were on the same level of quality as the Tennant or Baker figures I would buy it in a second, but just can't justify it now. May have to wait for in-hand pics and take my chances.

Since Tennant everything has changed. I still have problems with Watson's sculpt but I'm quite sure that Sherlock will turn out fine.

I've been saying this on a weekly basis since October but I would really like to know when this is coming just so that I can budget for it.

these were both incredibly sculpted by the wonderous Trevor Grove. the sculpts are amazing. look back and find pics of the raw sculpts. there is NOTHING wrong with them. the paint apps might be detracting a bit, but I'm sure that in-hand, these will be outstanding!!!

I've noticed over the years that Trevor Grove sculpts can be very tricky. Raw, they never look anything less than flawless, but unless they get just the right paint apps, the finished product can take on a cartoony or slightly exaggerated look.

I don't know... I just didn't really see anything cartoonish about the final painted heads, myself, personally. Gregg posted some photos of the proto-painted ones in the BCS Fan Group on Facebook and I thought they looked really nice, even better than in the promo shots of the full figure. Not sure why, exactly, but they looked good. It'll be interesting to see how the production pics turn out!

I sow pics in BCS fans-if somebody can say it to makers-violin wooden bridge need to be thinner. It's so great made acessorie, but because of this one wrong way detail it will looks cartoon as other 1/6 vlns made before.I tried put it in coments there, but it was errored 5 times:( Believe me I know what I'm talking about.

I think the thing is, Trevor Grove still has a style. . . whereas guys like Kojun and some of the other Korean sculptors, you can't really tell, it just looks very life-like. I've always felt that Grove over emphasizes features. Like Walter White's wrinkles are carved very deep, you can always tell Trevor did it by the lips and nose, he carves a hard edge around the lips, the lines under the nose are very pronounced, those sorts of things. It just ends up over-emphasizing things and giving it that, not cartoony, but "hand-drawn" sort of look.

Just watched His Last Vow. That was incredible. So glad I jumped on this and I am SO getting a John when I can afford it, tonight was the night he became an iconic character in his own right, the mad ****er.

I have yet to watch it. I need to find £30 to pre order these. I need to get these after last week's episode and undoubtedly the latest one.

It would be criminal now if BCS doesn't give us a Moriarty figure to go with Sherlock and John.
Especially after what went down on tonight's episode.
"Miss me."

I'd buy Moriarty in a heart beat. It would also help sell more Watson's as people who were on the fence about him would want to complete the line.

Can't say I enjoyed last night's episode. The Appledore reveal was lazy (to me), as was the ending and I'm not a fan of having (shown in the coda) another series of that.

I do wish I had pre-ordered the Sig editions of Sherlock and John. Too late now but I did e-mail them to see if there would be a *doubtful* wait list, never got a response though.
