Hi Tom

Sorry if you thought it was snappy that was not the intention at all, but I can honestly say it’s not a wide spread issue despite what you may see on here. Honestly we have worked out what has been shipped, received and opened to how many issues with nose rubs. Plus checking current stock and It’s currently less than 5%. Yes we are not happy with that percentage and it shouldn’t even be an issue but sadly it is. As I have said previously we will replace all nose rubs. It’s something the factory has agreed to replace and sort out. All will be replaced.

Thanks

Thanks Gregg, really appreciate you responding. i hope this line goes really well for you, it's certainly won me over and I will be ordering in the New Year.

No problem I just edited my post above also about the drying situation you expressed in your comment. Sorry I clicked send before I finished my reply.

Thanks Greg, I know it's a pain. I think some better packaging protection over the face (foam) might do the trick. I don't get mine shipped until early January so I hope the issue is resolved by then. Really looking forward to receiving these.

All the heads were QC before being packed, they were completed weeks before the figures were fully assembled which means they were dry before being packed. The factory is looking into the issue.

Thanks

PS Guys, I think I'm gonna glue down the vest lapels if ironing doesn't work well enough.

Mark me down as another person with the nose issue - looks like he has a giant white head on his nose!!!

The trouser legs on mine are also a bit creased up. I'm also not sure the shirt isn't a bit messed up stitching wise - need to examine it properly tonight.

Personally I want a full replacement and not an additional head. I'm no expert as this stuff so have no intention of popping off heads. I just want something to arrive as it should without me messing about.

It's a nice figure but I'm not sure in hand I'm feeling what a felt seeing the proto. I only really wanted the six Bonds in a tux but I love Connery in this suit so fancied buying the figure as an addition. With me being a little disappointed in it, the longer BCS takes to come back to me the more I'm thinking I'd rather just return it and stick with my original plan.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that wig tape - don't laugh! - is good for this sort of thing? I believe it's called 'topstick'.

Arggh , my set arrived and guess what.. horrible
Paint rub on GF’s nose . The good news Bond
And OJ is ok .

What is the deal with GF ‘s nose ?

I think if BCS could get to the level of HT in the eye department then they would really be up there. at the moment the eyes let down the figs imo, HT eyes are almost life like, how they hell they achieve it, I don't know.

About eyes I have same opinion

If anyone is willing to sell their Sean Connery from BC...I will buy it...even with the nose paint loss, I will fix that myself. As for the lapels, what I would do is two back/hiden stiches and it will lay perfectly, I use that "trick" a lot with collars and shirts when I want an specific look/shape.

No paint rub with Connery and Oddjob but the
Connery Suit as I suspect is “ Let’s just say
you pay what you get” the white shirt is
Very low quality

Out of the three figures, I think Odd J and Goldfinger
Has to be the best in terms of quality with suit
And headsculpt. The Connery Head is also
Up there.

I suspect Ray” the Bond expert” will
Not be kind in the review with Connery Bond

I'll open mine in a few days. I'm a critical unforgiving ******* but I'm also usually pretty fair. I'll give credit where it's due when warranted.

But my love for Bond is so strong that I'll be pretty harsh by default because I care so much. But if I'm won over in any way you can sure bet we have a miracle on our hands with these guys haha
Please check pms about other story ;)

Here is my Bond right out the box. The only adjustment I made was to the tie. Unfortunately mine has the paint rub as well however I have contacted support.

This figure is amazing in hand. I do plan to work on the jacket to get a better fit.

The only issue I had was trying to get the left hand in pocket look. I couldnt find a hand that fit great. Is the best hand for this the left he came wearing that holds the pen???

I didn't see anyone else mention but i got first edition number 144.

I was surprised by the clear slip cover over the box that shows the edition number. I hadn't seen that in pics.

from that above pic it really looks like a bobblehead. I have not seen the legs look that skinny but they really look like stick legs there.

I'm surprised I have not seen much body swaps here... even just a regular truetype should fix some of these issues.

It really doesn't give that opinion much in person. I agree with Optibotomus that the stand makes the pants punch up in the crotch. Again, I didn't mess with the suit before putting him on the stand. Only fixed the tie

I think with proper fuzting - the jacket lapels really need to be ironed to flatten them down a bit and the shoulders need to be pushed up - it doesn't need a new body. MAYBE a little padding on the thighs. Once everything properly settled - collar, jacket, shoulders hiked - it looks great and proportional.
