I'd love to see a BCS version of Craig and Safin from the new movie. Since they have the license, if anyone has the chance to make them it would be BCS.

But then again, China is going nuts lately with IP theft and unlicensed knock-offs... so who knows?

I would love to see a Casino Royale wave of Bond, Le Chiffre and Vesper. Instead we have Bond from 46 years ago. Never mind the first film since they got the license is out soon. **** sake!

If I remember right BCS have to make dolls from the older line of Bond films before being allowed to make modern Bond dolls, apparantly it is something to do with respecting the franchise or just the way of the broccoli.

Personally I am glad they started with earlier Bond as not only is that my favourite stuff but if they started with the modern stuff I doubt we would of seen the stuff they made. Not that BCS did a good job, how I wish Hot Toys had this license but they are only interested in SW and super hero crap.

It’s the right move to be more timely for them. They need to capitalize on mass appeal to inject some life into the line. I want everything in the dossier obviously but they have the License they need to be only merchandiser in the history of the world to actually put merch our for a current bond film as it hits the theaters.

I stand to be corrected but i think HT did want the Bond licence but Ms Broccoli wanted a British company...hence BCS

That would all boil down to the terms of the licence agreement...if Ms Broccoli had said yes to HT but only on the grounds that they produce a minimum of four figures a year starting with the most popular bonds...we'd have at the very least both Connery and Craig by now...maybe more.who knows...

Craig will be long gone from the role before we see a production piece from BC...

HT likely wouldn't do the deal if they HAD to produce older movies from the franchise which they can see are selling no where near the numbers they need for a profit. Perhaps HT already had this conversation with EON and said no. Who knows? But I can't see HT wanting to do old Connery stuff... and that still seems to be where the Broccolis always want to start.

I can see HT wanting to make a Connery, but that's probably it as far as the older Bonds go. And of course there's no guarantee they'd put their best sculptors towards the license anyway.

If I'd be truly invested in a Bond line and had to map out a production schedule for my company, I'd think I'd suggest it as follows:

Connery
Moore
Brosnan
Craig

-Pause-

Connery alt
Moore alt
Brosnan alt
Craig alt

This allows a new group of fans to get in without "damaging" the value of the originals for those who get all huffy about rereleases. It also lets you get two films of quality designs for each character.

I'd even go as far as to say each original releases with an alternative outfit. Suit and iconic casual, bringing us to three looks for each bond between first and second releases.

Rami looks very toyetic from the new film.

I feel bad for all of these craig bond villains and their facial deformities. Except that random one guy from quantum of solace lol. All the writers were on a writers strike and someone forgot to give him a villainous case of psoriasis lol

Villains need to look nasty. Come on, its awesome.

It looks like they really went for it with Rami. I'm not sure how I feel about the soft white mask -- reminds me of Mic Jagger's girlfriend in Keaton Batman -- but hoping it works.

They do seem to be going for the face a lot lately. I'm surprised with the real-world modern tech that they don't give a villain fully robotic (prosthetic) arms that look believable now. Or a leg. Silva's missing jaw was unique though.

Mark from BCS said their new definitive line will apply to other licences and is their version of a DX line.

Please let a Craig be included.

Happy New Year...

Checking in to see if anyone has any new news from BCS. I believe LALD is expected to drop sometime in February per their last announcement. I forget when Dr. No is due.

Curious what movie is next -- Dalton right?
