Wow exciting news. Big chief studios just announced Solitaire from 007 Live and Let Die!

Cool. Not the best sculpt (or probably bad lighting with heavy-handed paint) but I always had a soft spot for Live and Let Die. But sadly this will be .. what... almost $300 or something? So forget it.

That's...not going to sell well (I suspect).

Oh Big Chief, I never feel like I know what to expect from one release to the next with you guys.

More often then not their HS tend to look cartoony. Too bad. They seriously need to improve their paint apps, especially with what they charge. (Either way, I'd rather have a Jane Seymour figure from Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger).

I disagree, I think even in the full shot, cheesy cartoony sideshow 2006-esq and completely Big Chief.

What I WAS impressed with was Goldfinger... hoping thats the production version.

I can see what people dislike about the sculpt, but overall I think the whole figure looks solid.

Still looks like too much of an oddly proportioned caricature to me, but to each their own.

Mind you, I haven't watched the movie in a few years, so maybe my mind's eye is playing tricks on me again. :)

I understand where you're coming from but this will in all likelihood be the only rendition of her and she's at least not atrocious.

I think it's the accessories and the outfit that helps carry the sculpt and makes the figure look even better.

I like her, think with a better paint will look great, my personal opinion and taste. Hope there a surprise tomorrow and they put Roger Moore, they have his spot next to her with a photo card showing him in his "tactical" apperance at the end of the movie.

I started a thread on the SF a while ago about Bond Girl statues. Thinking about it now, I think they would be better as statues than figures as the iconic look of so many good ones are in bikinis or dresses. I don't really want a female figure and see the joints or be worried about tearing the rubber skin from posing.

Don't tell anyone, but one of the BCS guys showed me a pic of the Moore figure today and it looks fantastic.

It does. I should have saved the image from the video last night. I'm sure the image will turn up on one of the forums or in early convention pics soon.
