bigfoot is cool but this statue is pretty awful....

Awful for you like most statues out there.....To some like me it's not...I take it the subject matter too doesnt mean much to you...It does to me and a few who are into cryptozoology...kudos for SS for taking some risk with this...Bigfoot was very BIG in the 60's and 70's....I remember it and loved it...

I remember watching that episode back in the mid 70's...I met Andre in the early 80's too...He was triple my weight back then but looked ten times as strong...He seemed like a really nice guy too...ah the good ole days...you know come to think of it...it would make a cool statue seeing Andre and Steve Austin..

Even before I bought the Sideshow bigfoot, I thought about buying this one.

But it is just a bit too cartoony.

After the long wait and $300 bills I paid for this I finally received my Squatch today and must say it looks damn boss and I'm glad I got one. It's still way overpriced at $300 and the thin legs should have been fixed but what the hell...it's Bigfoot and it's pretty cool. The paint job is decent but I would love to see some pro painter go at this and bring out the details. This could look even more amazing and who knows if they start blowing these out for cheap it might be worth getting another and reworking one into the Abominable. The mini bigfoot cast is a cool companion piece too.

And to cap the day, the mailman delivered my Bif Bang Pow 8" Bionic Bigfoot with real fur. Very cool! I think I'll buy another to keep one on the card.
