I'm on an Eastwood kick right now. I love when he grabs the bottle. :lol

I beg to differ. Arnie had his share of "not so bad-ass" roles as well. Have we not seen Kindergarten Cop, Jingle All the Way, Junior, Twins & Batman & Robin. Yet people still think of him as the bad-ass-buff-guy from The Terminator & Conan & is still considered one of the best action movie stars ever; despite him having portrayed roles that some would consider a 'joke'.

So I wouldnt count The Rock out just yet. I think its cool, that he has gained a fanbase consisting of many different age groups. From the Disney/Nick stans, the wrestling fanatics, to the action movie junkies, The Rock has caught the attention of many different demographics. So I personally wouldnt say he's out of the runnin to become the next big action star. He's just tryin his hand at many different roles & seems to be enjoying himself in the process!

I'm not on this wagon. I find Arnold to be the single most pathetic excuse for an action star on Earth.

OK...he is tied with Stallone for the top spot.

It was totally ____in electric, I loved it! :rock

Indeed! :rock

It's about time. :rock It was awesome how long his speech went on for. RAW ran over almost 20 minutes tonight. :lol Epic! :rock

PS. I'm making a WWE thread in the TV Forum after all of this awesomeness tonight. Don't know why it hasn't been made yet.

As much as I hate the Rock (oh, and I do), he really blew the roof off tonight. Just shows you how much the contemporary rasslers suck on the mike, IMO. Best they've got is Cena, and he doesn't have half the charisma of a Stone Cold or Rock.

Well said. I'm a big (not the biggest, but a big) Cena fan, but tonight was just a friendly reminder for me of how high the Rock set the charisma bar back in the day. Cena still hasn't come close IMO.

I used to watch wwf..wwe whatever it's called now, but then i grew up.

..and now i collect toy's:monkey3

Cena's got charisma and mike skills. But he's nowhere near being a Stone Cold, Hogan, Kurt Angle, Flair, or Rock. Hell, he's no Terry Funk or Shane Douglas in my book. Finding the right combination of mike ability, in-ring ability, and look are not easy to come by apparently. Particularly in McMahon's world, where unless you are jacked up out of your mind on steroids, you have no real place. CM Punk has sort of defied the odds there, but he still never felt like a "real champion" to me in the way that WWE promotes jacked up guys like Cena and even the Miz.

The WWF Attitude era was the best. All the superstars had so much charisma and character to them. StoneCold,The Rock, The Undertaker,D'Generation X,Eddie Guerrero(Latino Heat),Kane,Gangrel,Edge(when he wasn't a douche),D'lo Brown, etc.
Gone are those days. The only good thing about it now is they have the best divas ever.

Yea speaking of Angle I'm so glad he went to TNA. The whole "You Suck!" chant to a man who won against Abbas Jadidi in the Olympics just months after having a severe neck injury was very disrespectful. I've met Kurt and must say he is one of the nicest guys ever and works hard to put on a good show.
