I vote Apocalypse PF. I was absolutely stoked to get this piece, but in the end, even for it's sheer size, it still failed to impress. For whatever reason. My runner up would have to be the JSC Spiderman. It just felt cheap and lacked presence. Compared to the other awesome statues out there, it just paled in comparison.

A good barometer for success, I think is the aftermarket values. JSC and Apoc are having a hard time in the aftermarket.

Yeah I guess you're right lol. Even if you forget the pvc, the skin texture and finish looks horrible. It looks like a $50 toy.

Nathan Drake, but more because of what he represents. It was the first real human figure (I think there was a clone or two that came out before) to use Sideshow's experimental separate eyes technique, and it was a resounding failure. Which means that all future human figures are in danger of coming out like complete crap, including the highly anticipated Hoth Luke and Han.

Yeah I don't even think its possible to give a different answer here, is it?

Well, I think he has a point. I have both of them pre-ordered locally (with a deposit so I can't back out) and I am worried.

I'm not disappointed about too much to be honest. I'm primarily a Hot Toys/custom figure collector, and in those areas we don't have a lot to complain about. Writing was on the wall about the Joe line and King Darkness is totally right. I hardly ever bought SSC humans to begin with, so they can charge all they please and it won't affect me. If I had to pick something it would probably be HT's Golden Age Cap, and even that's not a total disappointment. Wonky head more than anything else that will be rectified with a Rogers sculpt.

If I'm looking at all the stuff put out that I don't care about, then Nathan Drake certainly tops the list.

please post pics
I wanna see the bad products
luckily I had nothing dissapoint me on the very few figures I got this year

HT Lone Ranger. Solid follow-up on last year's biggest disappointment ... Enterbay's Django figures.

Rough couple of years for high end western figures.

SnakeDoc

Figure-wise, none really.

Collecting-wise, HT's tightening up of their distribution channels.
