What show disappointed you most? what show did you wait for, and when it came out you couldn't believe how bad it was?

My #1

The Dresden files....just awful butchery

The X-Men animated cartoon from the '90s. Pryde of the X-Men was amazing. The '90s series, however good the writing may have been (I know it has a lot of fans), had terrible animation and voice acting. Turned me off early, despite my being a lifelong X-Men nut.

This is reaching back but the Super Mario Bros. Super Show!

Sitting through 4 days of Captain Lou Albano's shenanigans just to get a Zelda cartoon on Friday was pure torture.

This is one of those times where there's so many that you can't think of them off the top of your head.

I do agree with The Dome. And there's alot of Syfy shows that I couldn't watch.

The Dome is interesting that it started good and then went to bat**** crazy ridiculous awful. Pushing out the alien baby with her arm. :lol

Coming off the heels of an excellent Transformers show... I absolutely hated this monstrosity.

I hated it from beginning to end, but I felt compelled to finish it since it was a sequel to Beast Wars.

I don't really ever anticipate TV shows so I can't be let down when I start a show. If it's bad, it's bad and I move on. That said, there are shows that have awesome starts that let me down in the end. So I'll add Battlestar Galactica. I thought the show took a turn for the worse as early as season 2.5 and the finale's jump ahead in time really pissed me off. I gave season 3 a chance and thought despite it not equaling the greatness of the first season and a half, it was getting things on track to awesome. And then the season 3 finale happened. That was an awful twist that made absolutely no sense at all. I never watched season 4 as a result and don't care to.

OMG.........I didn't see that! :lol

I think I got through about 6 episodes before I gave up on it, simple because of the really bad acting in it. Glad I didn't invest anymore time in it now.

Game of Thrones. Everyone was raving about it, so I finally watched not only the first episode, but I hung on for the first season. Last time I'll ever listen to popular choice.

Totally agree. A friend kept raving about it and made me borrow season 1. I watched it and had no desire for season 2. Haven't watched a bit since and have no desire. I don't get the appeal of this show.

Mad Men and Walking Dead are two shows I watched for an entire season waiting for things to get good. They never got good. I have no desire to continue with either of them.

It's always funny to me when I have the exact opposite reaction to things. I loved the season 3 finale of BSG and I loved the first half of season 4. I felt in the first half, things lived up to that crazy twist in the 3 finale. The problem for me was the back half of season 4 where things just slowly meandered along. Thought I di like the series finale.

For me, i'm going with Fear the Walking Dead. I'm not sure i'm going to watch season 2. Season 1 is full of unlikable sh**ty characters that I cared nothing for. The original Walking Dead had a lot of problems in it's first 2 seasons, but I felt got it together well in season 3. FTWD's first season is not even half as good as it's predecessor's season 1.

Also a letdown so far, is Better Call Saul. Breaking Bad is fantastic through the entire run but Saul is just...okay in comparison. I'm already a tad bored in season 2.

Bates Motel was the biggest letdown for me. Both Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga are the highlight of the show but I for the life of me cannot get into it. Watched two seasons and stopped afterwards. I love Psycho and think both actors were excellent but the show falls flat.

Since you're talking about folks with opposite opinions :D I loved the first season of Better Call Saul. I think the quality of the writing and acting is right up there with Breaking Bad to be honest. And I was not expecting that going in. Having said that, in full disclosure, Saul and Mike were my two favorite characters from Breaking Bad.

Gotham. I go back every once in a while, but the first two minutes of each episode reminds me why I left.

Also, Vinyl. The trailers looked great, but the first twenty minutes are the most depressing and slow ****e I've ever seen.
