We're all dying to see progress.

lol yea at this point im just trying to find a body that doesnt break the bank. i also am wanting to get rid of this joker that i have and am wanting to get a body. so i can start assembling Blaine. as soon as i get paid at the end of the month i will buy all the rest of the pieces, like the boots and wife beater/tank top as well as some hands be it gloved or not since the marcus hands are going for like 30 bucks shipped on the bay :( but as for now still looking for that elusive body.

yea i have been looking at that krauser body it looks usable untill i can get my hands of a chris stars one. either way if anyone has one of those 3 bodies i will take it and you will score a complete v1 joker lol (since he didnt wield ol' painless ) :)

I have a spare Dutch body...sadly it has 2 left arms! So you'd still have to track down a right arm and that'd possibly be more awkward than finding a complete body with all the correct parts from the off.

I think I remember reading about that in the Dutch thread. You never sent that back for a replacement?! :horror

You remember correctly, I just wasn't arsed. I'd been looking forward to that figure for so long that I couldn't bring myself to send it away even though I already had another one coming from Sideshow. But I decided since I was going to be transferring one of them (in full gear) to a standard true-type for the extra range of articulation that it actually wouldn't matter...in principle it mattered because we shouldn't have to accept that kind of crap going on but for my purposes it didn't matter. Furthermore I even bought a 3rd Dutch to get a 3rd look from the film. So I've one Dutch in full gear on normal true-type, one Dutch as he appears on the film poster and one from around the middle of the film where he wears the camo-vest and the ammo-vest over that.

ahh so that is where all the dutch figures went :( lol out of curiosity how much would you want for the double lefty dutch lol

I still would've sent it back. I understand blowing off minor paint issues or potentially a wrongly duplicate accessory you've no intention of using anyway, but that's inexcusable. Plus, a correct replacement would've more than covered the cost of the TT. :(

on another note how are people getting the weathered look on cloth and such. im going to make a custom bandana for him and im trying to figure out how to make it look weathered, same with his camo shirt i am trying to find, that will match dutch pants?

Severely dillute brown paint (color is your preference) in water and brush it over the clothing until you get the desired look.

kool ya that sounds a bit easier than what i was going to do which was rub some mud and or soil on them to get that authentic grass look
