Pick up the original Bioshock first, man. Seriously. It's cheap and you should have some context before jumping into the sequel. Well, it isn't necessary, but I think the first Bioshock makes a better first impression.

So...what I'm saying is: Get 'em both.

Hmm at the price I'm being offered Bioshock 2 which is the Rapture Edition and comes with a Free T-Shirt I'm definitely considering it.
Is it all first Person?

Read this, thought I would post it

ANNOUNCING NEW SINGLE-PLAY DLC: THE PROTECTOR TRIALS
July 1, 2010-Elizabeth

We're proud to announce new single-player add-on content for BioShock 2, called the Protector Trials. The Protector Trials will be available on August 3rd on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Games for Windows Live.

So what are these trials all about?

As a Big Daddy, you must protect a Little Sister from swarms of Splicers, desperate to steal the ADAM your charge is collecting. The Protector Trials take place across six different areas from the single-player experience, designed to challenge your skills and make you think creatively about how to use your weapons and plasmids to best fend off the crazed citizens of Rapture.

The Protector Trials feature six new maps, three different difficulty levels, and seven new Achievements or Trophies. You'll also gain access to new unlockables, never-before-seen concept art and videos.

The Protector Trials will be offered on XBL and GFWL for 400 MS Points and on PSN for $4.99.

Note: New content requires BioShock 2 to play.

I'm downloading Minera's Den since I think it just dropped today. More single player for a Bioshock game = win to me.

I'm surprised with all the BS fans here no one else has been talking about it.

I just checked this past week and I'm way down on the Bioshock 2 DLC. I just downloaded the Protector Trials. I'll probably download MD after the Gears 25x weekend.

Yeah, I just finally hit rank 40 in MP and finished all the original achievements. Now I need to get all the DLC, which totals 2400 MS points!!! :slap

Saw a review for the Trials DLC on G4, not for me. That was my least favorite and most repetive part of the game and thats all the DLC is.

Lonnie you might as well go and pick up 4000 ms points thats what I had to do when I missed out on all the Dragon Age DLC.

What's with the f'n mods hijacking the bioshock 2 thread with non bioshock banter. :gah: :lol

Hey now we are allowed to derail a thread every now and again aint we.:monkey3

Here Fritz is this better, I need to get around to playing Bioshock 2 and ____ Nick Saben and Lane Kiffen.

Hows that.:nana:

Any else beat it? I was a fool and spoiled the story for myself when researching it on BS wiki, but still some awesome dlc for any BS fan. Minerva's Den is worth it.
