i think it's exactly this type of fanaticism that let sideshow keep getting away with all those terrible QC problems. If i paid for a brand new statue and then it becomes soldout, i expect to receive what I paid. If there is a defect, fine things do happen, but sideshow needs to correct the problem. They cant just say ops, here's 50 bucks now go away or return the soldout statue. If the first batch replacement wont fit, then make a SECOND batch. It's not the customers problem you screwed it up as a company - "situation beyond our control" is complete bs, who else should be in control of your manufacturing then? the customers?
And we are not talking about some nitpicking paint issues, the dang arm broke off...
It's interesting the marvel crowds are much less tolerant of those shenanigans than here.
