She looks great. I'll be passing on her. The only 1/4 SSC Avenger piece I have in my collection is Iron Man. I'm still waiting for a fully sculpted 1/4 Cap, Thor, and Hulk. I'm not a fan of the original PFs for various reasons. Because of this, I'm not picking up any 2nd tier Avengers characters. I have to have the Big Guns before I start adding characters like Black Widow, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Hawkeye, etc....

Space is always at a premium when collecting SSC pieces. I want to reserve it for characters I like the most. That being said, Black Widow looks fantastic and I'm sure that the peeps who order her will be happy.

Do you not like the Hulk CQ. I think we'll see a Captain America CQ before another PF but saying that there is a Modern Thor PF being rumoured because I thought a CQ Thor would of been more likely than a PF so you never know. You might get lucky

Can I say easy order....

Miller sculpts always turn out great post-production, and naughty fanboys can always indulge in pulling the zipper ALL THE WAY DOWN, but I'll pass on this. No real "ooomph" factor for me, and I don't really need a variant on the Lara Croft pose.

That said, can anyone explain the frumpiness around the right boob area? I keep looking at that...

It just looks plain with a lifeless face. You either must really like the character or your all about female statues like Buffalo Bill to buy this. It does look better than that ScarJo maq version.

Can I say easy order....

actually, a few recycled elements here:

- retooled Lara Croft Guardian of the light base
- same paint apps on boots a la Lara Croft Snow Day statue
- pleatherized Black Cat PF suit

It all adds up to "I've seen this somewhere before...", hence no real "oomph factor".


Maybe if they upgraded the bust area?

Damn. I'm 100% in on the new DC PF line... but this has me considering Marvel as well.

How late to the game am I? I'm not interested in the movie versions, but have they already released the comic versions for Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man?

LOVE the green Hulk Com! Not only do I have it, I also have Stan Lee's siggy on it. My only real complaints about it are that the paint job could have been much better and it's not a 1/4 scale piece. Other than that, I really like the piece. Even the hair doesn't bother me as it did many other peeps. I also would have liked longer hair for it but it wasn't ever a make or break factor for me. I just want a raging fully sculpted 1/4 scale modern Hulk. Hell, to be honest, the cloth pants on the PF didn't really bother me that much. I just didn't care for the pose or the face on it. With Cap and Thor, the cloth did play a huge factor in why I passed on both of them. That being said, the cloth they used on Supes and Bats looks fantastic. If they ever released another Cap and Thor PF and the costumes looked as good as they do on Bats and Supes, I would be all good with that.

I know that SSC will be releasing the Marvel Big Guns again in 1/4 scale. If they can do it for characters like Punisher and the new upcoming Red Skull PF, there is no way that the Big Guns don't get revisits as well. I would love them as fully sculpted PFs though. Fully sculpted PFs of the Avengers Big Guns and of the Byrne era X-MEN line-up would give me a joygasim! There is no doubt that they would sell.

They released Thor, Cap, and the classic Iron Man a long time ago. But they're should be a new Thor PF (modern costume), and Iron Man Extremis comiquette soon (hopefully 1:4). No news about a new Cap though. but since they're making a new red skull PF there should be a new Cap coming as well (hopefully)

They released Thor, Cap, and the classic Iron Man a long time ago. But they're should be a new Thor PF (modern costume), and Iron Man Extremis comiquette soon (hopefully 1:4). No news about a new Cap though. but since they're making a new red skull PF there should be a new Cap coming as well (hopefully)

Of course there will be. It's only a matter of time. They will sell, that's why they will be made. Believe that. Revisits of Marvels top characters are a given. It's already happened with lower tier characters.

That depends in what one would be willing to pay for them, I suggest sideshow produces a second edition of retired pieces, the prices in the aftermarket are ridiculous it would be a way to make more money off of the same molds and incidentally look out for all those loyal costumers that keep driving up these prices, even if this happens the first edition would still retain some value for the people that this matters to.

I want all new sculpts. I would have been very upset if they did that with Spidey. I HATED the Spidey PF. I'm overjoyed that they created an all new sculpt for the Spidey Com. That's the kind of Spidey statue I dreamed of owning. I also don't want a 2nd edition of the Thor or Hulk PFs. I don't like the poses on either of them. I won't lie though, if they ever released the original Cap PF as a fully sculpted variant, I would be all over that.

Firstly the spidey com is a different line si it requires a different sculpt, plus there is no point of remaking the pf spidey since it wasn't one of the fan favorite, but I think the people that would buy a second edition vastly outnumber the people that won't, eBay is proof of that, also there is the option of passing, for those that are not interested they can just not get it.

Finally all markets do this, action figures, DVDs sell you the same movies in different formats, quality of pictures and special edition, now I'm not trying to compare these very high end product that are these pieces with any of the above mentioned, just saying that alot of people would benefit if the classic were remade.
