I don't know why they chose this fur for the jacket though.

Outfit looks great but sculpt reminds me too much of the Blackbox attempt (obviously this one much more detailed but still)

Yeah, I'll pass at that price point. Coat isn't even accurate and I don't like the HS.
Everything else looks pretty good.

I really want a K but if it is really that expensive I wouldn't be able to get him.

You can put a decent custom together for under 600. Track down the blackbox or supermadtoys figure. I'd recommend the battle damaged blackbox figure, although it's hard to find.

Grab a good sculpt and get it painted. That's where the bulk of the cost is.

Definitely. I got one last year for under 80 USD. Only part the figure was missing was the shirt. It's possible to get a good deal. You just constantly have to be on the lookout. Good luck

I think this has a lot of potential. I would like to see a painted sample before I do anything though. Angdetaiyang is doing one of the samples, which is good, because I love their work.

Oddly enough, the outfit I bought was also missing the shirt. Fortunately, I was able to find one loose.

So far:

The Jnix sculpt, painted by 357partment. And I think I'll need to find a suitable adapter.

The third party Blackbox coat, weathered and modified.

(The shirt and pants are also Blackbox I think)

The shoes I have are Supermad Toys', but they're no good. I'll be looking for an upgrade for those.

The hands and blaster I'll use are Por.Toy's. But I've had an issue with Por, and waiting for that to be resolved.

The plaque I'm using for the base is by cro.customs.

Honestly, the more I look at my sculpt, the more I want to set the damn thing on fire and start again.

I shouldn't have had the painter send it when I wasn't satisfied. But it had already gone through one revision.

On one hand, 357 gave it what they could. But for that premium price, I thought they could do better.

That's the problem with customs. It's a gamble. An uncertain outcome. And you run the risk of wasting your money.
