I notice this figure is going to be available again soon at retailers.

Also, it made me think about all the people hailing this as Figure of the Year when it hit, yet it wasn't even nominated this year. People talking about how Blitzway is giving HT a run for their money, but come awards season, no one remembered about it. It's as much a condemnation of the nomination process as it is the utter dominance of Hot Toys.

That's sad if it didn't even get nominations because I think that it's pretty clear this sculpt beats out any sculpt HT put out last year

I WISH HT was consistently hitting likeness at this level

I didn't forget about it. When I knew the awards were coming up this was one of thw figures that I thought deserved a top spot. With all the 'best HT figure of the year' threads I was disappointed about not seeing a 'best 1/6 thread of the year'. I was thinking about making one a while back and having this figure as one of the options to see what people said, because it was like it was forgotten about. I don't even own it ,nor want it, but this figure is phenomenal. Its unfortunate it didn't get more recognition.

Yep, a fantastic figure. I actually watched the movie a couple of days ago on the movie channel. I hadn't seen it in a few years, so it was cool to watch it again. Been wanting to take a few pics of this guy and got the chance this morning. Thanks guys

Didn't like seeing it, but you knew it was gonna happen. You know that guy ended up in a body bag too at some point, if that makes you feel any better He was lucky that Carlito was trying to get out cause anybody else would have smoked him.

Yeah it was a shame but Carlito had to die for the movie to work I feel. He could not escape his past and it was some punk that got him in the end and like you say someone that Carlito would have taken care off easily in the past.

You were rooting for Carlito to make it though especially all the work he went through to escape the Italians.

Aren't they issuing a Bruce Lee statue by Arnie Kim? I get the feeling that Blitzway works on a consecutive basis, only announcing a new project once the previous one is out in stores.

A couple of months ago Blitzway showed a Rocky II 1/4 statue, haven't heard any updates since, someone here mentioned that they move very slowly on whatever they're doing.
