Yeah exactly. Even if I did, I don't think I'd do 1 per shelf. I like 2 per shelf, but I agree that 4 is too many.

I like 1 per shelf.....but I already own 4 detolfs....

Batman, Joker and Bane
The Crow, Indiana and Frank Black (soon to change)
5 zombies (3 the dead, 2 customs) this is a fun shelf and great look!
T-800 battle damaged and t-800 endo
Dc Watchmen( Rorsharch, Dr M , and the comedian)

Singles I will alway keep single

V for Vendetta
Rey and BB8

Soon to have company

VTS WR

Thats all the shared ones.

For GB set , I will have a second tier to put the back row higher.

Now how to decide who goes in the back....

I could never do 4 on one shelve. Im a strong believer in one per shelf. We are paying high dollars for these pieces (1/6) and our displays need to show that. A single figure needs to shine on its own and never share or compete with another. I have always maintained this. With my Mattel I did make the exception of two per case but never would I fill one shelf with four. When my Blitzway Peter comes these four will be relocated to my son's room leaving PV to take a place and an opening for another purchase (Ripley).

I completely agree with you... In theory; however, I'd rather not test my wife's patience with this hobby much further! She already tolerates my collectibles in various locations about the house, particularly because they're higher-end items & do not look like toys. If I declare that I will stock up on more glass curios because I'd like to dedicate more shelf space to individual figures, I may not be around long enough to enjoy Blitzways new figures

While I agree that these figures do need to shine on their own, space for multiple detolfs is non-existent for a lot of people, myself included. As my collection grows, the space to properly display them all diminishes. I'm at the point know where I have 4 figures on the shelf. I personally thing 3 should be max, but the alternative is not displaying some of them at all.

I think that two per shelf is the perfect number for a figure display.
I also think that if you have a "short" figure, such as Yoda, or R2, you can fit three and it still will look classy.

For space reasons, I am displaying two, three and even four figures together.

I try to make them pose interactively and when 4 figures are posed, one has to be a "short" one.

I don't have many figures yet, 10 in total with lots to come on pre-order, so I tried one figure per shelf. Still feels too spread out for my liking. Two feels perfect. They don't feel at all cramped but there isn't loads of space wasted between them either. I agree with parrasmaniac that three can look good to if one of them is smaller. Two Ghostbusters and Slimer for example would be fine.

I essentially have three detolfs stuck together now so it's more 6 figures per shelf with two in each window. If I switch my order from the three pack to the full four I might dedicate a whole shelf to them, four figures + slimer, the stand and all the accessories is probably equivalent to six regular figures anyway.

I have 5 in a 20x20 play room and it takes up alot of wall space.......luck I have an understanding wife.

It's my home office. Approximately 13' x 12'. I've got 9 Detolfs in there plus a pair of Billy bookcases. 2 additional Detolfs in my son's room.

I can stuff 6 full figures in 1 single detolf shelf and they don't look messy, it really depends how you place them and pair them with.

obviously if you put Joker & batman together they might not match well.

The wait for Ecto 1 is driving me crazy... maybe they'll never even release it but in the meantime i'm very tempted to buy other 1/6th scale vehicles instead. Between this, the BVS Batmobile and the Delorean mark 2 i dunno which wait is worst to be honest..

Me to! I switched my preorder on the Dr 3 pack to the full set a few days ago. Decided I had to get them all, these will likely be the pride and joy of my collection. Have Blitzway confirmed May? Last time I checked their website it still said February but obviously that't not happening.
