Looks good so far, just need someone to get some better pics. I like the box art. They'll look good stacked with my other empty boxes in the basement.

Funny if I was the first to take pics I would get in really close to capture all the details. I wonder if there is a secret organization that only allows low res, unclear images taken from a distance at initial reveals. Maybe they have a “PHASE ONE” pictures only area! Seems to happen very often.

I'm sure we were told the figures shown at SDCC were production pieces and they did look slightly different from the proto pics. Be very surprised if these aren't also the production figures especially when they have the packaging done.

I usually love getting close ups, slow videos and hi res photos. You'd be surprised how many people have ADHD when covering Con stuff. LOL

I think it took an SSF member to finally get good pics from SDCC. ZOD if memory serves....

What I wouldn't give to be the person to set figures up for these shows. The poses are godawful boring. They could do so much with these guys to make the display pop! I actually like the casual pose for Ray, so do all of them chillin' on the car or go fully dynamic, trying to trap Slimer. Something! Guess I'll have my chance for my own display soon (sans Ecto-1 and....sorry....Winston).

I was under the impression from some of those SDCC shots that changes were evident on Egon that showed those were probably production samples...notnprototypes

I believe Slimer is checking the oil.

Great looking display but I bet those display pieces are hand-painted for display at shows (similar to what HT does) but I hope I'm wrong, either way I think everyone is gonna be pretty happy in the coming weeks.

The figures on display at conventions are usually prototypes which are more fragile than the production versions.

The figures and ECTO-1 all look top notch. The name patch for each character on the box is pretty cool, but the background art is a bit bland. I think they should have gone for an Ecto themed design for them like this:

With the GB logo and still the name patch of each character on the front.

I would respectfully disagree with that, I think what they've got is stylish and different.

Yeah. Always hated the cover used for that DVD boxset. If anything, they should have gone with classic logo on black box with name patches. That said, I have no problems with the current packaging.

Black would have looked a but more classy....but overall they are not bad..

I think the box would have really popped if they had woven in some elements from the rooftop blast.





Oh well, at the end of the day the box doesnt really matter.
