That definitely brings out the likeness a lot more, very nice!

I'd definitely take that one over the stock paint apps, but is it just me, or does it maybe seem a little TOO light?

Either way, I'd take a tad too light over way too dark.

That was my first impression as well. Don't get me wrong though, I'll take that one each day of the week and twice on Sunday over the stock paint apps.

Also remember, he has direct light shining right over the front of the face. Doubt it will look that light in hand.

I took that into consideration as well. So that being the case, the stock sculpt also shouldn't look quite as dark as what it shows in the comparison photo, correct?

Exactly. As you can see from some of Kobe’s pics, and in my review. The paint application is more in line with that.

Certainly puts to bed any complaints about the quality of the sculpts. Winston might be the best with that repaint.

If nothing else, it should be pretty easy to slightly darken the skin with a few thin washes now. Since you're starting from a much better place than before.

We’ll undoubtably see delays with that. I’m also not too hopeful that the Hannibal Lecter will be out on initial release either. Lol
