Interesting seeing how many people want to now cancel PT figures, I do think having that set on order has a few benefits.

I can't see BW getting theirs out before December time 2025. Thinking of keeping the PT set and also getting this one mixing up sculpts for poses etc + slimmed Venkman.

I’m still keeping the PT POs despite them being inferior to the Blitzway 1.0 & 2.0.

Like you mentioned, mixing matching might be possible and PT are a fraction of the cost.

Although the thought of buying 2 sets of the 2.0 crossed my mind. In that case, I’d cancel PT. Full disclosure, I also own 1.0.

I wonder why they wore combat boots. Why not sneakers, more comfortable and practical for busting. Most action heroes like Sly, Arnie, Norris, wore combat boots, even Beetlejuice wore them, so was it a fashion thing in the 80s?

Depending on price, I may end up getting a second set. We’ll see. Present Toys should produce GB2 and/or Afterlife sets.

On the back of the 2.0 84 Ghostbusters and people wondering if the ECTO-1 will be reissued to go along with them. Blitzway unfortunately have no current plans to reissue the 84 ECTO-1 again.

Edit: Obviously they can change their mind at any point, as with the figures. This is just their current stance.

Today is supposed to be the "official" unveiling online, but not sure if that means pre-orders will begin.

Depends on your Proton Pack Knowledge, if you are OCD, there are tons of details that are inaccurate on those Blitzway packs.

Instant pre order. Cancelled my PT version order a few months ago as I just wasn’t feeling it. What a great shout on my part with this being issued now!!!!

$1,400 (or $350 each)?

In 2016, the 4-pack was $850 @Timewalker Toys - adjusted for inflation, that’s roughly $1,100 in present day dollars.

This new GB set has additional sculpts (factor in at least $50 extra per head), so it would not surprise me if the 4-pack is $1,400 (or $350 each). In comparison, Blitzway’s Kurt Cobain (w/ 2 sculpts) was $320 in 2022.

StarAce GB is $1,140 ($285 each) alternatively.

JazzInc Catwoman, HT Terminators, Blitzway Ghostbusters. Nightmare scenario for me is the all hitting preorder at the same time.

Could do with these sliding to next year but I know that won't be popular.
