The accessories look pretty amazing with this figure. Bodes well for Ghostbusters...just the 5 months to wait :impatient:

Its funny you think it will be 5 months......

Regarding the re-paint, Pitt's eyes never came off bright blue in the movie, they were mostly dark because the movie was dark.

That is a fair point. Colour differences due to filters are often points of contention amongst collectors but it's always wisest to go with what's on screen, not what the actor/costume looks like in real life.

Lol, now we are going to have the Han Solo Hoth Blue/brown coat debate all over again!

Good point, but even in those images they still do not look black like they do on the stock painted sculpt, which I am guessing is why some people said he looked Asian when the first few pics taken by some owners were shown.

Regardless, of film accuracy (which I will admit is usually the most important thing), IMO Kjun's repaint looks just like Brad Pitt, and in this case I think that is more important than how dark his eyes were in the film.

Yes that is usually the case, but it should still look like the actor and a lot of original owners, thought the likeness was poor without the glasses and I believe that is due to the eye color. That being said, if the eye color can still be painted a darker color to his natural eyes and the likeness can still be retained than obviously that would be the optimum choice.

I dunno man, i'm just struggling to find bright blue eyes in FC. (His natural color)

I'm just seeing very dark eyes with small hint of blue.:dunno

He has been known to wear contacts

But they were pretty blue in Legends of the Fall.

Bro you are missing the point, regardless of how Dark his eyes look in Fight Club they do not Black like the way BW painted them. Granted they don't look like their natural bright blue color but they are still not Black.

Remember Blitzway painted his eyes their natural blue color on their protos.

Anyway what I am trying to say in order to produce the best likeness to Pitt, the eyes need to be repainted their natural color or a darker shade of their natural color just not black.

You can't tell me that the one on the left with black eyes looks more like Pitt from Fight Club than the one on the right.

He has been known to wear contacts

Yeah but in 12 monkey's he didn't look like his usual self did he?

Got this guy today.
I am pleased. I realize that $250.00 means a lot of different things to different people, what they can afford, how it compares to other similarly priced figures, etc... but for me, I feel I got what I paid for...although 199.99 would have been ideal for me..

Cell phone pics in direct sunlight....

#Brian, are those pics straight outta the box or did you do some touch ups?

If its outta the box, man... so jealous your Tyler has additional highlights on the hair. Noticed his sideburns have a lighter brown wash, and the top of his hair has a little more blonde. My figure came in a consistent dull dark brown. Not a smidge of anything else.

Straight out of the box. I saw all the gold and thought
"what's all this talk about adding gold, there is plenty" maybe I got a good one.

I took those pick first thing before I even opened the accessories

Edit:no photoshop or paint touch up. pics were taken with a Samsung Galaxy s5 in direct afternoon sunlight

I notice that on some of these, there are more blonde high lights on the hair, going by some of the videos of these. So there appears to be some variance in blonde highlights on the hair color. In this video below the figure has lots of blonde high lights in the hair.

The eyes also don't look jet black here either, more of a brown color.

And here in this up close pic they look blue!

Can you confirm what color they are?

They are blue. They display dark when not in direct light, much like the character Tyler Durden. Makes sense since this is a Tyler figure and not a Bradley Pitts replica

^^^you can see there is a rogue eyelash painted on the upper lid here, barely noticeable with the naked eye, I may rub it off with a toothpick.

Here, also only seen with magnification the left iris is a bit off mark....

This raises quite a conundrum, since the first few owners said the eyes were painted jet black, maybe they are mistaken and some eyes just appear black because some of them are painted darker on some sculpts than others. :dunno

Agreed, but like I said for the best likeness to Pitt they should be painted the way BW painted their protos, which evidently yours look like they are.

Wouldn't have noticed if u didn't point it out.

Thanks, I fixed the pics. The eyes only look blue in good light like the sunlight pics I took. On my shelf, they are dark.
I like the look. I agree that Pitts has lighter eyes, but this really captures the feel of the film character .

This is how he looks on the shelf with Ikea led strips.
I like it and think it turned out well, but I have no doubt some one will chime in with a comment like "that's the best likeness of Liam Neeson I've ever seen"...or something even more witty. ...lol
