Thanks for the kind comments guys!

What did you do to amend the jaw. I agree, the production jaw seems a tad bit wider than the prototype.

The production jaw is definitely wider.
I used a hairdryer which softens the jaw, then I squeezed the jaw inwards with my fingers while I put the head-sculpt under the tap (cold water, this keeps it in place).

I hope that means just another week or so

I'll tell you what it means and it's actually great news. It means this US shipment was subject to the recall and QC process because it shipped long after they began the process which means (or should mean) the paint apps should be pretty decent.

Thanks for that! About how long did you run the blow dryer? Definitely don't want to mess up mine.

That is great news! Either way I've been impressed with what I've seen so far so I expect at least what we've seen, and I'd be thrilled

Was thinking/hoping this to be the case

So much for the black sugar tank top outfit. I just got a quote from Dreamworks Production and they're charging well over $300 for it. Might have to look into customizing one myself.

Well let me back pedal here I did spend more than that on the dude set from gee whiz. Still ridiculous but hey people will pay for it

No problem. I held the hairdryer from a safe distance from the head-sculpt for around 15 seconds.

This method has been tried and tested before so as long as you follow the same methods as me, you should be fine.

Mine arrived yesterday, overall I'm very happy. The box presentation is very nice and the artwork is something that should be appreciated. BW have gone full out on the accessories, something HT don't always do.

My only criticism would be that the jaw seems to be slightly on the wide side, which I tried to amend.

Not the best photos, trying to replicate the lighting in the film.

This one is just for fun.

Stunning pictures mate! Looks absolutely boss! Can't wait for mine next week :)

Wow! just for the costume? Surely came with a head sculpt as well though right?

No that's what was so crazy I got the shirt the sweater the pants and the gut pillow I want to say it was like 400 or 450 I bought the rain man headsculpt had to have it all painted and have the chest repainted for chest hair total cost is like $1100.

That last picture of Tyler looks like a still from the movie, may just be the best 1/6 in my personal collection next to jack sparrow

I was able to pick this guy up super cheap on eBay from a guy selling it loose. Thought I'd try my hand at putting some real hair on this guy to enhance the realism...
