What i do know is/suspect, there's some switching things at last minutes around here; first they secured the license of the first BTTF, then they saw that BTTF Part II is the cheaper option on license rate, hence they change everything this time. Notice the different announcement on the product and the movie title between the china exhibition what you call it and with this one, months apart.

Just like Halloween, the first license is more expensive than the sequels one.

That may be.

But I think there’s a more likely explanation. Given the choice between the variations of the car in the three films, which DeLorean do you think would sell the most?

Those of us who eagerly awaited the coming of the Twenty-First Century are _still_ disappointed a quarter of a century later that we _still_ haven’t gotten to the flying car stage of civilization.

I’m not going to get a real flying car. But I sure as heck can get something that reminds me just why I wanted one!

Z,

who would never use a jet pack! Yikes!

One improvement i can already see, is the groove on the wheel spokes. The HT one misses them, but oddly has them on the spare under the hood. HT are a strange lot.

Another possible upgrade would be to have it big enough to actually seat figures inside.

My criteria to ‘upgrade’ from HT

- Must be USB powered with more accurate lights that turn on immediately when the power starts running, or via remote so I don’t have to open my display case to activate them.
- A similarly tilted flight stand to HT but less hideous, preferably that is adjustable to add some options like low level, horizontal hovering.
Yup those are my biggest wants as well. I don't want to have to open up the damn hood every time I turn on the lights for this thing.

So leather seats I guess? This car will definitely not be cheap.

Also curious to see what their flux capacitor effect looks like.

Well, it's up to debate, but we do know that memorable first time wise, action scene wise, even accessories wise Mark 1 gets the cake. And logically, HT just released it a year ago, BW should've known that many buyers will think twice to owning the same thing in such large scale vehicle and knowing full well that HT did messed up Mark 1 big time, it's only logical Blitzway take that opportunity down.
