It has to be a significant upgrade from the HT BTTF 2 DeLorean for me to get this. I have both BTTF 2 and 3 DeLoreans and cannot fathom having another large one in my collection.

I guess time will tell...

I reserve judgement until the full reveal.

Part of me wants this to be an awesome upgrade since the HT vehicles are lacking in many respects.

But the other part of me does not due to budgetary and space issues - I already own all 3 Hot Toys releases (Part 1 on display, Part 2 in storage, Part 3 about to ship).

I thought Blitzway would put the Ghostbuster figures up for PO before these Delorean teasers.

Yeah I know they're trying to set themselves apart from HT, but the window thing is just ridiculous. I could see myself using that feature once and then never again. Especially with that horrible grinding sound it makes.

it’s a cool feature but you’re right, it’s probably something you test out once to make sure it works, or maybe once in a blue moon when you have guests over - like a fog effect or the spinning turbine on the Jazz Batmobile.

But I can appreciate any features that make it more authentic - it’s kind of like a figure that has an accessory or underneath garment that you cannot see outwardly on display but you’re comforted to know it’s there and screen accurate.

Just wait for all the reports of the windows breaking/getting stuck in the down position. 😵‍💫

I don't own the Jazzinc 89 Batmobile but if reduced features meant cheaper prices, then the spinning turbine and horrible sound effects would be the first to go, and most of us would agree those were useless features. I would keep the vapor smoke effect though. The best use of the vapor smoke effect was on their 22 Batmobile, mixed with the loud engine sound effect was amazing.

To sum up, I'd prefer 2-3 amazing stand-out features than several minor ones on a vehicle. Imagine on the 89 if Jazz only gave it the vapor smoke and automated canopy opening/closing. I don't what amazing features this Delorean could have besides the lit-up LEDs but maybe it doesn't need so many bells and whistles if it brings up the price for customers.
