Blitzway heads might be the best going these days, at least at 1/4. Unfortunately other than Bruce Lee they seem to just do one character per flick, so I don't hold out much hope for the other fighters in the series, but maybe at 1/6. I'd like to see a 1/4 Rambo. I had the Enterbay figure which wasn't bad, but looked a bit like Paul Stanley from Kiss. Also still hoping for Elvis 1/4 and Audrey Hepburn BaT.

This looks fantastic! Of course it is from my least favorite movie in the franchise (V never happened, it does not exist). That said, I am all in on this one. BBTS has this up but with a $100 deposit.

No idea, I don't think there is an exclusive on this from Blitzway though. I have never ordered anything from them direct, I always go through BBTS on their stuff.

Thanks, I do agree with you on Rocky V, but Rocky II is a great movie. Did you see Creed? Great film, am looking forward to seeing the sequels.

No idea, I don't think there is an exclusive on this from Blitzway though. I have never ordered anything from them direct, I always go through BBTS on their stuff.

Me neither, although Blitzway's site does encourage ordering directly or through an official distributor--which BBTS is not--in case of issues that would warrant returns or replacements. I've never heard anyone having QC issues with Blitzway, so I ordered the Marilyn one through BBTS. I'll see how well that goes before pre-ordering Rocky through them. Hopefully a shipping confirmation comes soon, though. Marilyn's already been delayed and it's hard to tell if the fluctuations on its sold-out status is a glitch or they're getting more in stock due to cancellations.

This is a damn nice piece. If it was 1/6th scale instead of 1/4th I'd probably go for it. As is I don't buy statues and am sticking to just one scale for my collectibles so I'll pass. Really great likeness to Stallone though and just looks top notch all around.

I still enjoy Rocky II, Just prefer I, III, IV and Rocky Balboa. Too many holes in II to stand up to repeated viewing (retires due to the beating he took at the beginning, yet his health issues are never brought up again later-also ignored until much later in the series) and Adrian is just awful in this chapter.

Hoping to catch it next week after the office Christmas party. Difficult to ditch my family long enough to take in a movie these days.

I still enjoy Rocky II, Just prefer I, III, IV and Rocky Balboa. Too many holes in II to stand up to repeated viewing (retires due to the beating he took at the beginning, yet his health issues are never brought up again later-also ignored until much later in the series) and Adrian is just awful in this chapter.

I thought Adrian was great in Rocky II, so we agree to disagree.

Your comment about it being difficult to ditch the family long enough to take in a movie lol If I had a dollar for every married friend that has made that same comment I be a millionaire, so single young collectors learn from this man, if you get married some freedoms disappear.

Btw I see on ebay that 5 of these statues are for preorder directly from Hong Kong for $795. I wonder why they are asking so much?

Got to admit, I have a soft spot for Rocky II, probably due to the fact it's the one I watched most often as a kid. As for Adrian being rubbish in it? How dare you!! Adrian in a coma probably stands as the best acting performance of Talia Shire's entire career. The part where she wakes up, Rocky asks if he can do anything for her, and she just say's "Win", with the music building in the background and Mick (in full on Penguin mode) shouting "WHAT'RE WE WAITING FOR?" is a much simpler and far more effective moment than the forced pep talks she gives to Rocky prior to the Clubber/Drago fights.

I also don't see how II is 'full of holes'. I mean, compare it to the third one, which in quick succession sees Rocky being bounced around the ring by Hulk Hogan, discovering that his manager had him fighting deadbeats ever since his title win, being honoured with a giant statue, getting pummelled by a p****d off Mr T, stumbling back to his dressing room to witness the death of his manager, reconciling with his former arch-rival, relearning his entire fighting style, gaining super speed from a bit of skipping and swimming, running up and down a beach without even taking time to stop and laugh at Apollo's little shorts/big socks/bare midriff attire and deliberately allowing Mr T to launch bombs into his body and face until he's out of breath before going 'Aha. Only messing with ya. I was pretending the whole time'.

Couldn't agree more. I love Rocky II, especially because it expanded on Apollo Creed's character. I love the scene where Creed is talking to his team about wanting to fight Rocky again, and his manager walks up to his desk and basically whispers "I saw you beat that man like no man's been beaten before, and the man kept coming after you..."

I had the same thing happen, am going with Secret Compass, they have it for $445 and only a $50 deposit.
