I'm thinking the quality difference is really in the photos at the event (lighting, exposure, focal length, etc) vs the professional video by P1/Blitzway

But with P1, I’m always worried when it comes in production versus proto and it’s way of my budget.

Why are you woried? They have had a few misses, but overall probably the most consistant.

Really hope for future owners.
This statue is probably the best Keaton’s interpretation to date and promises a lot.

I would love to get it, though I wish they would make Nicholson Joker as well. Imagine a KA Kim sculpt of him? That would be amazing.

Ok if i had a very little nitpick, it would be the color of the belt, too dark and brownish IMO.
I know they wanted to match this:

But under natural light, it’s a little bit more yellow.

Thanks for posting this! Man those proto headsculpts look so good! If only the production paint was that good too. Still, these pieces really make me want to ditch the HT figures

Batman 89 is my childhood so I have to get these statues.

I bought the Batman 89 Sideshow PF 1:4 a few years back but will add Prime 1 to my collection.

If JND makes Batman 89, I’ll have to double dip on another 1:3 statue.

I think it’s awesome and probably the best statue to date about Batman 1989.
Way too big and expensive for me.
But don’t know, can’t find back on any pics of the preorder the fabulous sculpt they teased weeks or months ago… like it’s not completely the same statue:

They say the cape is made of fabric material. Does anyone know if it will be pleather? It better not be for the price. Lol
