Woke up to an email notification from Prime 1 that my waitlist converted. Went with standard shipping so It should be here in a couple weeks. Im just hoping there won't be any kind of delay or shipment issues with all the tariff crap going on.

Statue came in this past Thursday and i finally had time to unbox it today. I think it turned out really well. Don't know where I'm going to display him since I really didn't have time to make room. This was kind of an unexpected purchase due to the uncertainty of my waitlist converting. Anyways, after seeing @cking's pics with this statue and his CR Superman, i was excited to acquire this piece and pair him with my CR Superman. Im hoping this one will hold it's own weight against JND's version(once it's eventually revealed) so i wont be tempted to replace it.

Lighting in this room kinda sucks, so I opened the blinds to let some natural light in.

It’s undoubtedly the best pic I’ve ever seen.
What intricate me is that it seems that there are a lot of disparity or inconsistencies between the different copies. Some seem way better than others.
Yours seems to be on the top!

I mean some have a very dark belt color, almost copper where others get a nicer lighter yellow with gold accents.

That's the one thing that stood out to me as well while unboxing it. The belt on my statue is more of a copper-ish gold color which i thought is supposed to be yellow. I haven't had a chance to look up reference photos yet. So far im not bothered by it but I may consider repainting the belt later down the road.

If I remember correctly, a few years ago, after years of debate, Bob Ringwood himself declared that the belt was painted mustard yellow and that the gold accents were due to the car painting used under lighting.

It was never supposed to be dark gold or copper.
Me too, if I had bought this statue, it would have been the only thing I would have fixed.

HT succeeded to capture this yellow with gold accents on DX09. Unfortunately, on the 2.0, the belt lost all the metallic touches and is now a bland cheap yellow.

They are all the same. It's just the lighting as usual. The real thing is more like on the first photo. The color of the belt is not accurate anyway but to be honest it doesn't really bothering me.
