Hell, both films he's done have elements ripped right out of Halo and with his history with that franchise, why not? He's the perfect choice.

There were shots in Elysium when the shuttles were coming in where the clear intent was to make it look like a mini Halo.
Here's hoping this comes off.

Hopfully this goes well and Blomkamp is able to get back on this project. I'm sure Microsoft would love to have him on board again for the show and commercials promoting the next Halo game as well.
