Actually, after being able to compare so many of Sideshow's Boba parts next to Medicom's ones, I'm surprised how close they are in size. The rocketpack, pistol & rifle are so exact in size you'd almost swear the same molds were used. The sleeve & pant legs on the Sideshow jumpsuit are actually a bit shorter than Medicom's, but are obviously roomier & better detailed. And, in the case of the gauntlets, the Sideshow ones are so much smaller that they won't fit properly on my slim TT's forearms, as you can see in this comparison photo:

Unfortunately, some people just aren't going to get it. Its the same with my Jango, super awesome figure and almost as tall as Ultimate Jango, but he needs the stockiness of ultimate Jango, otherwise hes perfect and beats Ultimate Jango in every other way.

I understand the point you are both making. In my defense, I was curious to see if anyone else thought it would possibly work mostly because I thought I'd read somewhere that the grey wrist joints are hard to come by (and I took into account a knock off TrueType costs $20-$25). If the grey wrist joints are cheap and plentiful, then I am left only with a curiosity bug nagging me to try to deepen the holes.

I've drilled out the wrist holes on a TT, and it works just fine (you basically just have to drill through the back wall; the forearm is hollow), but I'd agree with the rest of the guys: Fett came with a dozen or so of those gray pegs, so cutting a pair is much safer than messing with the figure.

Thanks for the info, natron! I plan on getting some affordable TT style bodies in the very near future, so I may or may not try the deepen-the-hole mod. No matter what I do, I'll share my experience in hopes others will benefit from it.

Well, quality of pictures is good but his posing sucks. I hate when in an open leg pose, the bottom of the feet are not flat touching the ground. Just looks weird and he's completely ignoring the articulation in the ankles. Also, the bottom of the pants on the right leg seems to be loose in all the pictures. And the chest armor vest still looks boxy even with the interior plastic cut off. He needs to at lest do the boiling water thing and reshape it. There. Go back and do all those corrections and put them in the correct thread.
