I agree. I don't know what would be difficult about painting the stripes or skull.


On another note, is the helmet adjustable? Like on a ball joint or something?

Yeah the helmet's adjustable. Turns right and left. you canhear a spring or something in there.

If I hadn't been so excited this morning, I should have went and gotten my old jetpack in the basement and BS'd you all into thinking it had one! Damn! another missed opportunity!

Sitting here looking at him I've just realized something. And this happened when I got my first PF of Han solo.


He looks very lonely all by himself..

I love him. I had buyer's remorse about him the last couple weeks. see, when SS started their SW line, I had Credit cards. I used to see stuff and just order it-regardless of price and cringe and laugh later. Thats how I got my MR Falcon. Got a great deal, but just kept charging stuff. january of 09 reality set in and both my nearly maxed out CC's raised my rates- I was FUBAR. I had to start saving for all my stuff-which wasnt easy. I just stuck with SS 1/6 as my priority. Then last sept my Grandmother died and I got enough inheritance over the last 12 months to pay off all my CC debt and make collecting fun again- but I am still just sticking with 1/6 stuff and being a bit choosier. its a much healthier way to collect. I saved up the cash for Boba here, so I did my work for him-But to have a big $845 item charged on my secondary check account(or as I have named it-it's sole purpose, my Sideshow toy account) made me feel guilty. I debated over and over on cancelling him and using the funds to go towards all the 1/6 guys I have on preorder.

So am I happy? Yeah. He is so awesome! Ya tell yourself "lifesize bust" but until he's in front of you, you don't see what lifesize is.

Glad you got to pay off the debt and make it fun again. Sorry about the way that money came about of course. Mine is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, can't wait to see it in person. I try to be very choosey too. I used to collect everything Star Wars. Now I do mostly high end, and only a piece here and there. I like the PF, and the busts. I'd buy a Fett helmet from eFx if they'd make one. Missed out on the MR. Wish I had that Falcon of yours! That's an awesome collectible. If Sideshow ever makes a life size Fett, and it's REALLY well done, I'm going to be in trouble because I won't be able to resist.

I've taken some new pics, I just have to get them uploaded-they are so much better than the ones I took with my phone. I also took some of him next to my Han solo bust.

also- if by any chance someoe out there gets one damaged and Sideshow says it needs to be destroyed in order to replace, I'd be interested in the base if it's intact. I know I havn't heard of anyone having to do that since the PF speeder bike a few years ago, but IF it comes up, I'm in need of one of the bases.

well, I've checked the color templates for the helmet. The cheeks, that are dark green on the Bust, are supposed to be either black or "PRR GREEN"

So, evidently, SS decided to go with the PRR GREEN.

For the visor, there's two red colors, Caboose red for most of it, then there's "Maroon" chips as well as the grey and silver.

I'm happy that you were able to get all bills squared away, and I absolutely believe you about not appreciating it until it's in front of you. Boba Fett has a bit of a magical quality to him, and me and many other member of this board are jealous jealous jealous!!

My last flex payment is scheduled for around the 25th, but I'm planning on calling Sideshow early next week and having them go ahead and run the last payment. I want this bad boy to ship so I have him arrive the following week. I can't wait!
