Re: Boba Fett (new version)

I'm hoping for a better helmet, better paint applications and a more solid feel. Also, a better base wouldn't hurt, I was a fan of the old PF base!

Re: Boba Fett (new version)

Definitely want a better helmet. I like the current PF a lot but more poly stone in this one would be nice.

Re: Boba Fett (new version)

Too bad Alex couldn't pop in here and confirm if we'll be seeing ESB for an updated ROTJ. I asked on twitter and facebook with no reply.

Re: Boba Fett (new version)

A jango done right would be awesome to go with this. I really hope they make this a great sculpt unlike the savage oppress. I really wanted some characters but the sculpts was not giving me the shock factor to love it enough to buy it.

What's a jango?

Re: Boba Fett (new version)

If they do go with ESB or ROTJ, it might up the price a little but I'd love for them to add his light up chest piece and range finder, and a light up base with AV jack would be awesome, as the light up features on the recent Vader deluxe was extraordinary

I don't think Fett will light up. His light up potential is minimal with only the small corner of one chest plate, two miniscule lights on his rangefinder and one single light on his jetpack (assuming it's ESB). I don't see it happening.

Fair enough, they have the lightup from the Life-Sized Bust, but the scale is completely different. IMO if the paint app, helmet sculpt, and base were all top notch, a lighting mechanic would for sure make this guy the definitive fett assuming the pose isn't this

That won't be the pose, it will be closer to the art they released earlier. I think the PF is the wrong scale for Fett to be lit. I get the Life Size Bust, that makes perfect sense. I would take lights on the (hopefully) LSF Fett.

Re: Boba Fett (new version)

Fair enough, although they haven't announced or planned an LSF, it would be a day 1 p/o for me. As for the pose, it looks like they are going with the Star Wars galaxy artwork pose, which is absolutely ok with me

Nice catch on that artwork! I wouldn't mind that pose as long as the helmet was movable!

Re: Boba Fett (new version)

Lol Jango Fett is lame as shyte! Boba all the way. I'm with Irvy as in "what's a Jango", his meaning I think is more like "who cares". Irv correct me if I'm wrong

Agreed. Jango is nothing but a ripoff of Boba. Boba is the original and always will be. George found a cheapa** way to insert a Boba Fett-like character into the prequels and that's it.

Re: Boba Fett (new version)

The difference being that Jango was actually a character.

Jango was only created because of Boba Fett. So in fact Boba is the father of Jango Fett lmao

But Jango actually had, you know, dialogue and a character (A crappy one). But Boba's just a guy who looks cool and does nothing but follow the falcon, call Vader in to do the dirty work, and then get knocked into a pit by a blind guy whilst screaming like a little girl.

Lol you're treading on thin ice, considering the thread. If Star Wars wasn't a movie, and Boba wasn't a "villain" he probably wouldn't have been removed from the conflict in the same way. That being said, Boba's attitude and body language is moreso what defines him as a menacing and intimidating character as opposed to his dialogue or actions, the former of which being far more impressive
