It was like Mad Dog and Glory when Robert Deniro fights Bill Murray. I had no idea who to route for.

Silly isn't it,? two grown men fighting over dollie heads.:cuckoo::lol:lol

what's silly is the mind boggling talent that both of you have...

John, i have been a fan since you first started posting in 2003 (OSW)... your point of view is truly an inspiration! your web site was a weekly destination for me... imagine the fulfillment you get out of your process and double it... that's what i get out of the end result.

Boot, I always look forward to seeing your thread as your work has always been top class and when I first started painting I had the honor of seeing your tutorial on the 1/6 warriors website. Thank you for all of the inspiration and for posting your fantastic work. IMO I think because you do such a phenomenal job anytime others see something to gripe about when it comes to your work they want to let you know about it to prove to themselves that you are still human (I'm not pointing at any one by any means, I just want to thank you and let you know that your fantastic work is appreciated!):hi5:

Thanks,
I'm open to criticism, beleive me I know the stuff I paint is FAR from perfect. There are many other painters on this board who I consider better than me.
All I can do is keep trying to improve.
I just think there has been a little bit of an agenda going on. There seems to be a pretty evident pattern if you go back through my thread.
Just my two cents, and we all know what that's worth.:)

Imo i dont think anyone was griping about Boots work but simply pointing out that something looked slightly off with the paint application. Perhaps others do not pick up on those sort of things because they dont have a trained eye. Art is always open to critique, without them you cant get better and improve. Just my two cents.

My two cents have noticed a pattern too. So that makes 4 cents. :wink1::lol

As far as I know I have a million things I still need painted and not enough Boot OR small to go around so if you ask me I wish there was a third genious in the mix to help us get this stuff pumped out there's very few others I'd trust with this stuff... Either of those two are going to keep having requests from me anyway so neither should worry about my love haha

If it helps I think your skin tones are amazing and super realistic looking. I have a folder called Boot25 saved with a bunch of pics of your repaints. I never get tired of looking at your work. :) The sculpts don't really look like plastic once you're through with it.
