I have only just caught this thread, and to say I am a little dissapointed is an understatement.
El Roranous - To be polite, what the hell is your problem?? I fail to comprehend why your very first reply was an unfounded accustation against a fellow member. Last time I looked customfig is a member of these boards as well.
I cannot work out why you came to the conclusion that this is some sort of scam? Apart from your snide remarks you have failed to provide any clear evidence. Do you know something that nobody else knows.
I know all about the "Melvin" saga, however in your mind you seem to have made an instant connection between this and that. customfig has never said that these figures are, or ever will be, for sale.
All I saw was a post that was from a fellow board member happy with the haul he managed to pick up at a very good price. No different to any number of post that are posted here daily.
Believe it or not there are still bargains to be had out there, not every sale is made from online stores, Ebay or Forum Boards. There are a lot of little shops, especially in many Asian countries where figures can still be found sitting on the shelves for original retail prices, and this can include rare figures too. To many asian collectors some of these "western" movie figures are not as desirable as their own home grown movie icons.
You and some others need to pull your self righteous heads out of your behinds and stop being so cynical and negative. What I read in your comments is pure outright jealousy.
Oh and BTW customfig, congrats on the find. I will admit that I am jealous of your latest additions. To get 3 great Marines like that at that great price is a dream come true.
