Sadly, the later Bowen pieces are turning out like the initial faux bronze attempts that sideshow tried to pass off (until the Vader Diplomatic Mission, that is).

The first, and the best, Bowen Hulk FB piece ROCKED because of the color contrast. These latest releases lack the color variation that turned me on to the FB line to begin with.

Al, please tell Randy to make future FB pieces with color variation, like Hulk, Cap, or Thor, or not to make them at all. They are awesome because they have colors within the faux bronze. Although I guess there will always be a sucker, myself included (but not this time), willing to buy them.

Clearly this Juggy FB piece doesn't have the initial POP the Hulk/Thor pieces have. it just blends into itself, into nothingness...............

The price and the fact that it won't fit in (color-wise) with my other stuff makes this an easy pass.

Looks nice, though, but maybe I feel that way just because I'm a Juggernaut fan.

Pre-ordered! Love love LOVE this sculpt and havebeen wanting to buy it for a while but the price on ebay is a bit much for the regular!

The FB color actually isnt any different I dont think then the other statues. Its just that FB over brown turns out bronze as opposed to a color witha bronze over tone.

That's because Juggernaut's costume in full color blends into nothingness, too. It doesn't pop at all. Actually, I think because bronze is so close to the brown, red and flesh of his full color look, it is actually BETTER than any of the other FB, except maybe the FB Iron Man Mark 1 comic version, because that was supposed to be metal to begin with. To me, if something is supposed to be faux bronze, it should look like bronze. There is no blue, red or green bronze in the world. I think those FB look gimmicky. Like you said, the Vader FB is the gold standard in FB now. Sorry about that mixed metaphor.
