Joe is a stand-up guy ! He always comes through with product and great Deals !
two endorsements for joe from new members. joe contacted me to deal by pm but didn't have a website to go to. his ebay seller id has only 4 mister potato head figures and no bowen listed. how do you guys actually buy his bowen products, mental imagery? until this seller has been established here or can get the endorsement of a known member, proceed with caution. he should be announcing his sales in the dealer section and not by pm.
No offence, but threeonesix has been here since 05 and as far as I know has been a very stand-up guy that whole time.........though I agree the pm thing seemed weird.

pm me your price list.
The PM thing isn't weird when Tyler requested it:

Do a little research before you call someone a new member ********. Not all of us require a large post count to compensate for our other shortcomings.

You can't beat Joe's prices and customer service. I've been buying from him since 2003 and now get all of my Bowen and DC Direct statues/busts from him.
i'm buying, not selling. buyers usually PAY first, so they are at risk, not the seller. does joe have feedback in this forum? does joe have a secure website to take credit cards? joe's ebay seller id has ZERO bowen items for sale. these all make for a degree of suspiciousness, ya think?
why would you assume that my ebay id is the same as my user id on this board..you know what happens when you assume right??
my user id on ebay has over 8000+ positive feedbacks and I do sell bowen on their but not much..you know why because I have a huge repeat customer base that comes to me time after time to get their stuff, because I am reliable, I ship fast, I pack well and I deliver what I say I am going to deliver. I have a federal tax id number (i bet a lot of online businesses do not have that), I take credit cards through my secure quickbooks processor. Yes you have to call me to give me your info but you know what that protects both of us as the internet is not always 100% secure. Besides the money I save each month in web site hosting fees, bandwith, key words and yadda yadda yadda allows me to offer better pricing and have a better warehouse facility to meet the needs of my customers.
Dont worry though I will post in the dealers section, I will offer the guys here the same great deals I offer to my other customers and in time people will realize that by casting judgement on someone without talking to the person or doing research will only hurt them in the long run
when i asked for a website address, you didn't offer one, nor your correct ebay seller id. from the beginning, you avoided a direct response to a direct question...joe. i somehow think i'll survive not buying anything from you.
I told you from the start I did not have a website and my ebay id is clearly listed in my profile (at least I hope it is because there was a section to put your ebay id in when you created your profile) no sweat off my back, I am just saying I know there is a lot of b/s and scamming out there, but your reasons for not trusting someone are pretty lame...I mean if I really intended to scam someone wouldnt I ask for money order payment only and not credit card or paypal WHEN THE ITEM SHIPS which would protect the customer...no need to clutter the boards with this nonsense. I am sorry I offended you by contacting you via pm, most people prefer this type of contact as opposed to cluttering up a thread or board with information that is not necessary.
Enjoy your collecting and have a great day, I too am sure you will survive without buying from me as well...
joe, no apologies necessary. i recently read here not to comply with sales requests from pms from unknown members and i guess i had that in the back of my mind. and just yesterday, my local grocery store, sweetbay, was comprimised by hackers that stole credit card information from 1.5 million people, mine one of them. so i had to call my cc company and have a new one sent. a bit shell shocked so i apologize for thinking the worse from your intentions. good luck in your sales ventures.
less than 200 posts from threeonesix since 2005? how can someone that posts so little expect people to know him? exactly my point ryan.
i'm sorry. i see you've been a member since 2005, but you only have less than 200 posts. i'm not really sure who you are or why anyone would think your endorsement holds water. but you really should post more rather than just chiming in to endorse an unknown. makes you look like a scammer.

that sucks you are in florida?? me too!!
My lack of post count here hasn't stopped people here from buying things from me when I have them for sale. Granted, I've only sold a handful of things, but some of them were big ticket items, ie SS B&W Mummy was sold to a member here when I had probably 65 posts. Many of the people here know me from the other forums I've been a member or mod of: Spawn forums, LOTRguide forums (a mod once upon a time), Statueforum (more of a lurker than poster), etc. For about 2 years I was only able to lurk here because my work firewall would not allow me to log in. So I just read the posts during the day and I hardly ever post at night.
tyler,
Wanted to chime in and let you know that Joe is top notch. A lot of boardmembers have dealt with him without knowing it. As for his site, we have been working on it for a while now. Some of your dealers have even bought from him as well.
One thing that should be known is that when we do launch his site (if I can ever catch up on everything), the pricing will not be the same as he will be forced to follow MSRP as set by RB.
I understand that it looks suspcious to get the deal via PM but as with all boards, you really don't know protocol until you try things first.
yes I did I am trying to corner the market on lettuce and shrimp today:chew
i sure hope you didn't get sweetbay hacked.
