Aren't those the mini statues, though? I thought those were only about 5 1/2 inches tall, which would mean that the Surfer would be quite a bit larger.

No, the pic I posted is of the Full Size FF statues, Reed is about 18" tall!!

I was able to pick up this set yesterday, for what seems to be a bargain. What do you guys/gals think? I saw another set go for $300+, but that had an invisible version of the invisible woman. I only bought it for the Thing, but like I said, seemed to be a good deal. link


Edit: seems I have gotten the mini-statues vs. non-mini statues. wasn't aware there were different sizes. strange, cause I thought that may be the case, but checked edition sizes and they seemed to be the same. Oh well. I'll see when they get here in a few.

Any news on the Bowen Silver Surfer? On the Bowen Designs site (where it's still available bwt) it says that it will be released in March. I wonder what the ES will be. Has anybody heard something about that?

haven't heard about the es but it must be huge if it's still for sale. i'd like to see them serve up a chrome one for the collector's club but the last im silver and gold chrome is supposed to be the last chrome from bowen. i joined the club recently and i think it's a good deal.

i really love the quality bowen produces. still small enough a company to treat you right too. have you seen the new stuff there?

there's a picture comparing the size to the galactus fs statue. produced to be displayed together. says it stands over 12" tall, from top to base.
