I wanted this, but I wasn't willing to spend the $400 this originally cost when I had the chance, and certainly couldn't justify spending $800 on it now. If it's less than 1/4 scale, it shouldn't cost $400 to begin with.

That's how I feel about it too. I really wanted this version, but I just won't let myself pay that much for a 1/7 scale statue. This thing shouldnt have been more than $250 IMO.

Beautiful statue though.. Cant wait to see some in hand pics once it starts shipping.

Nowadays, sellers need to consider so many fees prior to deciding a sale price; Paypal fees, website membership fees, eBay fees, state taxes, original shipping and handling fees of the product itself... And, when you try to incorporate that in a sale price, some buyers think you're gounging them...

It certainly can't be fun being a speculator. Then again, every so often, there are sales like this one where it might seem worth it. However, sales like these aren't common at all, especially for a Bowen piece.

Not worht the money IMO base is nice but the modern version looks better.

I agree! I so badly wanted Randy to produce a modern Cable on the Sentinel head. Since he didn't, I'm picking up the modern instead. It does look better IMHO.

Modern Cable for me. Retro one looks so bad. Like 80's shoulder pads bad! Awesome base though the claw marks doesn't make sense!

I like this Cable better but I like the regular base better than the sentinel head (I know, I'm the only one and I'm crazy).

Sure as hell aren't going to buy both to mix and match though, so probably just have to settle for the regular. I don't want that honkin sentinel head base in my collection, just don't care for those dumb robots for some reason

What! I'm waiting for just a sentinel, and you get one as a bonus.

funny you said that. A member on another forum thought the same thing. He added stubble/skruff to make Cable appear older.

He added stumble on the modern? If so then I dont see it in the pics.
