You spend waaaaay too much time on the computer. Over here...you know, lots of posts...there's a world going on out there. Shut down your computer, open the door and get outside and enjoy it.

I'm not a fan of anything comics related from the late 80's and 90's.

I've mentioned many times I don't buy everything that BD releases. You must of glossed over those posts. LOL

Heard there's a lot of problems with this statue from the other boards. Is this true?
It looks great and I want to get one for myself but want to make sure nothing is off with it.

mt, other than one guy on statue forum who through a tantrum..I didn't see any other problems mentioned. What did you read? (I don't visit SM).

I was just reading through as well, but there was more than 1 thread if I remember correctly that discussed about, from some flaws what the guy thought was a paint defect that turned out to be a battle damage effect to pegs that don't fit into the holes.

I like the statue, but before spending $500 plus on it, I'd like to do some research first.

Well, for what's it's worth, it's an outstanding piece. So, good luck finding one... once these babies are gone...yikes! If people shell out $500 for a cube base, I can't even begin to imagine what this badass statue is going to be going for down the line.

the problems are paint variations. No two are the EXACT same. the battle damage gives the painted room for interpretation and some members were upset with certain brush strokes.

There were no serious problems aside from a couple of paint chips and the fact the MODERN DOES NOT FIT in the SENTINEL HEAD

Got mine- love, LOVE it! However, there are some paint chips on the base. I will have to shoot an email over to Bowen and see what they say.
