Bowen's Planet Hulk Sneak

I'm basing the paint quality issues on the 2 I have: FB Thor, and Iceman. I've also seen the Wolverine FB in person. So, please let me know if any of those qualify as a "modern Bowen". Each time I place one close to an SS dio (Sabretooth vs Wolverine for example -- since they're the same 1/6 scale), it just pales in comparison. I could be swayed easily, but from the ones I've bought, the paint apps have been wanting.

Perhaps it's not the paint app either, but more of the details that go into the statue or the base. At the price of a 1/4 PF, I expect Bowen's to be good at every department, albeit at 1/6 scale. I'm sure the look is there, but the details are underwhelming.

This Planet Hulk is a step in the right direction with details, but I'll reserve judgment until in-hand pics.

For me its not the paint application, its the color/shade of color choices. Although more recently I have been impressed (except with hulk statues).
