Dedguy, nice review. Did you have any problems with the painting sticking on almost every joint, because I did and I know that lots of other people did too.

Not only that, but I can't really move his hip ball-joints at all. When I do, there is a pretty horrible plastic cracking sound and I have given up on movning them around. But he does stand really well on his own with the knee and feet movement, so not really a big deal.

The rest, I completely agree with you on. Love him and the Berties so much!! I would much rather spend the larger amount of money on these figures that HTs or Medicoms (which I don't own any of) stuff. The extra accessories you get with the regular 1/6 figures is nice, but I love the scale of these much, much more. Now I just need to get the SDCC version so I can have one with a rocket launcher!!

Does anyone know if the Merc and Euro editions will have Gatling Guns too?? I was hoping for maybe different weapons with them, say maybe a large rifle or a large missile launcher, like a 4-pack RE style missile launcher. That would definitely make me spend the money on them as well!!!!

It's not the paint sticking, the joints are just really tight, at least on mine. The hips do make a horrible noise when moved but I wouldn't sweat it. It's just the noice caused by the friction of the plastic. I'm careful with moving joints around (in particular the elbows since the bicep cut seems weak) but I have no problem posing him a lot.

I've heard talk of a robot accesory kit with some new guns for Bertie/Bramble, hope that's true. As best as I know, and from pictures Ashley Wood has posted all Brambles have the same gear.

Yeah, Ashley did post something about an accessories pack, but I was hoping that the Brambles would com with different weapons.

Oh well, I will more than likely still get them all!! CRAP!!!! With these guys and the TPTK figures, this is gonna be one expensive end of the year. Looks like I will be buying less and less SSC stuff to keep up with this line.

I will only be getting this one Bramble. I'm still unconvinced on the TK figures, at least based on what we have seen so far. I've heard tell of the next robot being something called "Large Martin". I'm guessing we're looking at one of the more humanoid proportionally robots that look similar to Bertie? The type that the TK figure comes with a head of?

Ah yeah, I've seen that one before. Looks like a large Popbot or something. The one the TK is chopping the head off of?? Hmmm..... ??

Well, I want the big ass toothy robot!! :lol That thing looks awesome! I don't know what his purpose is, but he looks hilarious!!

And where the hell is our Zombie??!! I'd much rather have a Zombie right now than all those TP,TKs!

Saw this over on OSW, cheers, great review.
Would love to get at least one of these, but commitments, commitments!

Looks like Large Martin is more like... a bigger updated version of Bertie? Maybe?

Careful with those hip joints guys. Because I couldn't leave well enough alone my Bramble now has a busted hip. It's not a huge deal though the end that is attached to the body came unglued/snapped but a little glue and it'll be fine. I worked the right joint free but the left remains stuck and now broken.

Yikes, I'm pretty careful with my stuff. Good to know though that the weak point seems to be in an area that is easily repairable.

I have a normal 40hr/week job that also includes 10 hours of commute a week so on the weekdays I have little free time. I never wanted to be one of those people who held weekends to be so precious, but what are you gonna do? Gotta make money. I love my job though so it's all good.
