UPDATE

Claire grew up with her older brother Chris. Eventually, Chris skipped college and joined the US Air Force, while Claire became a student at university, and took an interest in motorcycles. Claire has been trained in military combat techniques by Chris, and has learnt how to handle herself in hand-to-hand combat, as well as being able to wield a multitude of weapons including combat knives and firearms.

"HUNK" is the codename of a Special Agent of the Umbrella Security Service, who was the leader of the ill-fated Alpha Team in the employment of Umbrella. Cold, silent, and devoid of emotion, he is a ruthless operative.

Almost nothing is known about HUNK's history or even his real name. The earliest piece of information relating to him was that he was trained at the Rockfort Island Military Training Center in 1996. HUNK has carried out a large number of successful operations, many of which he was the only one to return alive from. This earned him the nickname "Mr. Death" or "Grim Reaper HUNK".

"Sherry was born around 1986 to the Umbrella virologist William Birkin, and his research colleague and new wife, Annette, when the two were both working at the Arklay Laboratory. Due to their key participation of developing biological weapons for Umbrella, William and Annette's work schedules were very intense and busy, and as such weren't always around as Sherry grew up. Nevertheless, she loved her parents very much and enjoyed spending whatever time she had with them, with her parents feeling the same way.

In 1995, William and Annette were transferred from the Arklay Laboratory to a newly-constructed underground laboratory in the outskirts of Raccoon City to finish William's work on a new biological weapon called the G-Virus."
