Sorry for the double but I have a question...
You know when Walter, Mike and Jesse steal the methlamine from the train and in the scene wher Mike and Jesse tell Walter that they are taking their 2/3's?
Walter gets angry and tell Jesse he is taking pennies on the dollar and could be making 300 million instead of the 5million?
I'm wondering if Walter is genuinely concerned for Jesse...I mean in making the 300 million Jesse would be set forever and never want for anything, or is it just Walter and his greed protecting his empire by dangling the almighty dollar sign in Jesse's face for "his" benefit?

I think Walter was trying to protect his empire by keeping the team together . eventually he could sit back as Gus did and run his empire from afar and have Jesse do all the cooking .

That's terrible.
Well you better stay outta the thread tonight IF you don't want to know. I'm sure its going to blow up tonight...Infact, the entire internet might blow up! :lol

Fo sho, especially with me in this thread, posting my 'famous' play-by-play. :lol

IMO, primarily the latter, though there probably is a bit of genuine concern for Jesse's future, too. He explains himself pretty well when he goes over the buyout he accepted with Grey Matter, I think. I can see his point of view, even though it would've been smarter in the end to just accept Declan's offer and walk away.

Agreed. And I'm basing that on the 'stage of evolution' of Heinsenberg at that point in time. I think it was all a selfish decision on Walt's part.

Yeah you're right. I just heard him say "this is all I have left."
