Yea it wasnt happy at all. It happened how it was supposed to happen and thats great.

PERFECT! That's how you end a series. Didn't miss a beat. Didn't leave us with bull****. Thank you Vince Gilligan.

IMO this was a better ending .

I respect that man, but I felt I have seen an ending like that in hundreds of action movies. Too many cliches, and no real risks taken. But thats just my opinion.

My thoughts:

Walter White; father, husband, teacher; meth kingpin. A hero to some. A villain to many. At the end of the day, there is one, absolute certainty; Walter White left this world as he lived it: on his own terms, unapologetically, as the one who knocks.

No risks taken? Walt want into a house full of guys with guns .:cuckoo:

Re: No love for Breaking Bad?

I can see what he means by happy ending.

Family gets money
Hanks body found
Jesse is free
Bad guys avenged

But in the grand scale of things it wasn't happy and the ending was perfect!

that last post makes me feel he is just trying to get a rise out of people . no matter the ending , he would have thought it was a cliche or anticlimactic

the story goes deeper than that

I hope that was sarcasm ? what planet do you live on where that is a happy ending ?

Really? He kills every Nazi and Lydia, saves Jesse, Jesse and him seems to be at peace, Jesse kills Todd, Walter achieves his goal by leaving his family money, Walter dies by his own bullet in a lab and looks to be at peace.

Maybe it wasn’t a happy ending, but it was the happiest ending possible that could have happened tonight with all the of the decisions Walt made previously.

Just my opinion please don’t yell at me and until I agree with you.

Very fulfilling ending. Everything got wrapped up.

My heart was beating HARD during the scene with the Nazi's. I loved Walt's brilliant M60 turret trick. Glad Jesse got a way too. When he drives off, it reminded me of Walt in a few seasons driving away and screaming in victory.

It was as happy an ending as possible given these last 8 episodes. And it was incredibly emotionally satisfying for me. I had such ridiculously high standards, and this show met them. Absolutely brilliant.

:exactly: Just everything worked out a bit too good for my own taste.
