Re: No love for Breaking Bad?

If they would've found a way to wrap up Jesse's story and the Natzi plotline in episode 14 THAT wouldve been in the top series finales of all time.

I stand corrected :lol

That episode was so good I didn't need any other finale other than what was delivered. It was almost like episodes 15 and 16 were there just to take the edge off what went down in 14.

I honestly thought, after watching the episode, that it would've been the perfect cliff hanger ending. Episode 16, though...just WOW...only question left was how Jesse does. I liked the show before watching season 5 but truly appreciate it now. I never thought I would even consider anything on the level of the Sopranos but this is damn close. It'll be no time until I watch BB beginning to end again.

why did Gus kill Victor in season 4?

I was watching it again, and I remember in season 5 Walter mentions this to Jesse, that why would Gus kill Victor in front of them like that.

The obvious answer would be to send a message to Walter, and because he ruined a batch.

But then in season 5 I remember Walter asking Jesse what did he think about Victor's death and he said something I could not understand. Walter mentions something and then they leave.

Which always made me wonder what was Walter trying to say in season 5

I always assumed it was Gus' way of telling Walt that he was in control, and that Walt's only alive because he wants him to be; not because he outsmarted Gus.

somehow i think that message was intended for Walt and a reminder to Mike as well. that they are fixed point and expendable, nothing more.

I think it was both. Victor became a liability after the e-fit and being placed at Gail's apartment. It also served as a message to Walt. Gus is very much in control and everybody is expendable.
