Thanks guys! Glad you like him! I hope to get some shots of him on the Dewback.

Marmits are great, but not perfect. The hands and body suck, as did the weathering. Everything else is great! I love them and have to do up mine now.

So... what would happen if I switched heads on this guy, just to see what the larger head looked like on him?

Would he look more like these guys with the new head?

I think the head needs a repaint, obviously, but does it look better? More accurate to you all? The horn doesn't look bad either, I think?

i always thought the hasbro really just needed a repaint & a few tweaks here and there.

It seems like the Sideshow is a bit too small, but the Hasbro is a bit too big. Guess it's a case of picking which problem you'd rather have.

I think it's just personal preference, Geri. I dig the way SS’s D’an looks stock but this doesn’t look half bad either.

Yeah, it looks small. I just wanted to play a bit and see how the Hasbro looked on the SS body. I'm not really seeing it yet. I think I may hit it with dullcoat so I can really look at it and see if its better or not? I just want my band members to look like this:

I must say, everytime I see a marmit custom sandtrooper, I go mad like general veers did in the last crusade over the holy grail... must get those helmets for my ssc sandies AT ALL COSTS!!

Why stop there? Go ahead and grab some Marmits. Use ALL of the armour with the SS body suit, body, feet, hands, weapons and back pack.

I want to, I saw some for a reasonable price on ebay, thing is, I already bit the bullet and splashed on 2 sideshow sandtroopers I'm putting on TT slims and totally repainting, it all is going superbly apart from the helmets not being marmit (other marmit armour bits look better too, but helmet is the biggest draw)

Can't bring myself to get the marmits and have these SSC guys go to near £200 waste haha

The marmit pauldrons are better too!

Aw, THANKS MAN! Here's what's next!

My pal bought a beautiful Sideshow Dewback and so I modified this Marmit Sandtrooper to ride on it. Its basically a Sideshow Trooper body with Marmit armour, featuring Sideshow Sandtrooper feet, backpack and hands, all stripped and re-weathered by me. I also made a holster for the blaster and added it to the belt. What do you think?

That looks bloody amazing dude - like an extra from the film in costume no less!!!

Just shows how much the beautiful Marmit armour absolutely puts to SHAME, the wonky SSC Stormie sculpt.
I'm SO glad I got rid of my SSC Sandie Corporal when I did ages ago - dodged a bullet there.
