That looks a lot better. Good to see the Perseus body is a good match for this, The neck line still bugs me. I think I will dremel mine away to make it look more like the HT T-800 fit.

Try to put the clean head on a TTL body temporarily, the neck joint is not compatible though, so blue tack needed.

hey all, thought id share some shots of my new custom John Mclane figures. I used the heads from the new brother production figure, as well as the outfit for the die hard 3 version. Had to do some heavy dremeling on both the neck and the head and added a new neck joint to each head. this is also my first foray into repainting bodies! still gonna add the tattoo to die hard 1 john.

Hey a2c I think your John McClaine isn't stock Brothers production.

The body looks different as well as the the 2 shirts and maybe the pants.

Where did you buy this and how was it advertised?

I might be wrong but it looks off compared to everyone's else's (including mine).

Yep, that's a knock off. The body, head, belt holster are for sure not the same as the Brother production. The body is obviously different, besides being a completely different style the knock off body is orange in color. The heads also don't look as much like Willis and you can tell the real BP head because it has a pit (indent) above his left eyebrow, yours does not.

And how can I be sure? Because today I received one of these cheap rip offs. It comes looking all official with the BP box and all. Though once you open it up it there is no doubt it is not the same figure as all the in hand pics posted here. Looking at him now he just doesn't look the least bit cool.

I was wondering how all of a sudden tons of these popped back up on Ebay. Geez, I also have a Brother Zombie Killer coming, I hope it's not another knock off.

It's not like the quality of the original release was top-shelf, I can't imagine how shoddy the knock-off must be. Are you interested in maybe taking a few pics? I'd love to be able to compare the two versions.
