Just picked this up for 93 shipped... What's the thought on this piece?

That it's awesome. And that it benefits from a body swap. The body is the only weak spot on this figure.

And that's a great price. Almost makes me wanna buy another one.

I think that's what he used. Don't get Mags wrong, the body is pretty good. Mine is still on the regular body, the only upside to switching it out is to do more dynamic poses. But it seems to work fine for me. I think they may have upgraded the body in the newer batch. (the one I have).

He sanded down the forearms (as usual).

Yep, narrow worked great. I don't have him in a dynamic pose and I can tell the diffence. There is very little shoulder articulation on this body (and the shoulders are very square), so he just doesn't look natural IMHO. :peace

I have both heads on display, and the one with the suit does have shortened forearms - sanded to fit.

Just looked at some of the recent pics in here again, and he does look decent on the stock body. I just don't like the restrictions in the articulation department.

If you got a spare "no name" TT, I say use it. :)

Yeah, I was expecting something a lot more stiff like what you were describing. But it's actually a decent knock-off.

I don't feel like undressing him though. :lol

Oh yeah, I wouldn't ask you to do that. :lol

But if someone did a swap and has a picture of the newer body I would be curious to see it.

:lol

Okay, I thought you were hinting at it. :lol

Some pics I snapped tonight:

Lookin' good. Did you glue the top to his hand?

:lol

Okay, I thought you were hinting at it. :lol

:lol

Believe me, I know better than anyone - once you get a figure futzed the way you want it, the last think you want to do is strip it down! :thud:

I've almost lost it once or twice trying to get it to balance in there...

I can get it in his hand, it just falls out every time. I'm gonna use a tiny dab of Quick Grip glue to hold it in place. :D
