I'm up to issue 24, waiting for 25 , but haven't even started this build or opened many of the boxes. However, about a year ago I had a need for CS when one of the bags had opened inside a box dumping all the small screws out for that step. Needless to say a few screws got out of the box where the tape didn't seal the edges and I needed replacements. One call and I had the replacement package on the way. While I had an excellent experience with CS, I'm sorry to hear some of you are not and hope they rectify this asap.

I called them up last week regarding my last shipment, as it's been a month since I received the "processing" email and they replied that they are a little delayed with the final subscription but would be shipping out soon. I'm assuming that it may be due to the final 4 packages and the wall bracket being included.

Just glad that I'm done paying...

I have had great luck so far as my buddy black sheep. Had two months issues that had problems and replacements sent with no problems. I will be almost done myself and have not started building yet. But I did inspect each one.

I haven't started building, either. Have purchased quite a bit of aftermarket items, so wanted to have everything from DeAgostini in before planning out the build.

I plan on making a few modifications myself...

So another month has passed and STILL no pack 7, definitely will NOT do another Deag kit. But while I'm waiting I'm getting some of the other kits I've got sitting on a shelf done.
Not sure if I'm keeping this as is, I'm not entirely happy with my paint so I may strip it and repainted it. :)

Very nice finish, Walls.

The weathering appears to apply more to a "moon of Endor" walker.

Is that the Bandai kit?

I've got just about all of their 1/72 scaled ships but your build has me ready to order a couple of walkers as well.

EDIT: forgot to mention that I received the finally DeAgostini shipment a couple of weeks ago. The last four subscription packs and the wall bracket. The box looked like UPS had played soccer with it but fortunately everything was fine inside. The wall bracket is actually quite impressive. Pretty hefty in design.

Thanks guys, I think I'm gonna repaint the base in the very least.
This is the Bandai, details are really good for the size.
Primed my Zvesda Star Destroyer gonna base coat it tomorrow and hopefully start assembly this weekend.
Deag is really disappointing me, been waiting for almost five months now for what they call back ordered parts. It's a shame as I was really considering the R2 and the upcoming BttF Delorean but I learned my lesson with the Falcon.

@Walls - look up Fichenfoo's tutorial for oil paint weathering the Millennium Falcon. It's on Youtube. The methods he uses work on any SW ship or vehicle.

I can't recommend enough Fichenfoo's tutorial as well.

Excellent step by step guide to painting and weathering the fastest hunk o' junk in the galaxy.

I've watched a couple of his vids, great stuff.

I think for the Star Destroyers though a base of Insinia white and a basic black wash are all that's needed, those ships never did have the amount of weathering as the rest.

Got to see this in person at SW Celebration last Thursday. It is beautiful. Wish I had the money to buy it, space to put it somewhere, and patience to build it....

I'd heard they were doing an X-Wing currently in the UK. I asked about this last week at Celebration and it is coming to the US starting in December.

That's awesome! Right when I get the last piece for my Falcon sub.

Sithlord, awesome paint job on that!

Looking at your pics... do you also have a Captain Rex PF?
I was wondering if it will fit with the Cody PF into one Besta shelf.

Thank you & sorry about the late reply.

No Rex PF, just the ep.2 Clone next to the Scout Trooper. Cody is a bit of a pain to display, will probably move mine up onto the top of the unit when some of the new PF's begin shipping.
