Seems to me that a 12" Bullitt figure was either in the works or was produced a few years ago (Mirage)? Anybody know if this guy was made, if so

1. What is it like?
2. If its good...where can I get one?

I think there was a version from Toys McCoy from Hunter... very expensive. Try an eBay search you might come across one. But I don't think they ever made a Bullit figure.

Nope gb, TM never made a Bullitt MQ, there was an 8" plastic mold version made a few years ago by someone but that's all I've seen recently... however the McQueen Estate has been more active in new licensing so hopefully we'll be seeing some new stuff soon.

Yeah, a few people have made some pretty decent customs of Steve McQueen from Bullitt, but nothing has officially been made in the 1/6 scale. I think it was N2 that made that craptastic 8" plastic piece of junk. I really like the Toys McCoy "Hunter" head-sculpt. It has that "matured" McQueen look--and the movie was pretty entertaining too, mostly b/c McQueen played against his type, but it's always been panned. It was his last film too. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a nice 1/6 Bullitt!

I m fortunate enough to own both the Hunter and Great Escape Toys McCoy figures. They both appear to be on the Hasbro hall of fame 12" body, but i ve never opened Papa Thorsen so i could nt say for sure.I could never get a straight answer as to why they never released a "Bullitt" figure...very strange, especially when you consider, along with The Great Escape it s his best known work.

Bullitt is one of my all time favorite movies.

I saw a Bullitt 1/6 figure at a small comics show in SJ about 5 years ago. Can't remember if it is a custom (probably was) - but it was pretty neat. He had a black mod turtle neck on and the gun holster setup on top of the sweater.

Judging from your pic - Galactiboy - I'm pretty sure now that it was a custom of one of the McCoys figure.

But yeah - I'd buy a Bullitt 1/6 in a heartbeat.

Re:so the 1/6 by Mirage ......

...pictured here at Toyfair 2003 never was produced? I knoiw the little one was made, because there is one on Ebay right now for $25. But the 1/6th never made it?

Wow. I hope they DO release that one. Looks pretty good.

I hope SSC or Medicom pics it up. I've been waiting for a Bullitt figure forever. He's one of my customs projects for a while, but never had the time to get it going.

The only thing about the fig in my pic - the color of the shoulder hoster. Should be black or dark brown.

But I'm sure it's a prototype and not final.

The likeness in the hs is pretty good, though.

Pretty kewl.

There is also a Rambo below him as well.

Yeah! I noticed that. I wasn't sure if it was Rambo or a Street Fighter character.

I'm trying to dig up more info about this Bullitt figure. See if it's coming out or not. I'm obsessed now. hehe

It looks as if this was supposed to be made by N2 Toys. You might remember there Matrix 12' figures. They went bankrupt sometime soon after this photo was taken at Toy Fair if I remeber correctly, so the chances of this particular figure getting made is pretty much a deffinate no. Mabe another company will produce one though.

Dangit! Yeah - maybe someone else will put one out. It seems like such a no brainer.
