and his name is "Harvey". Perfect!
You mean like James Stewart's imaginary rabbit Harvey? Like he's not really there so wouldn't leave greasy stains on the dude's suit? Like Demi lost her agent years earlier as her star faded so she's imagining the whole thing?

Or you mean the blatantly, blandly obvious - Weinstein?

I have this but CANNOT bring myself to take the time to watch it. Think I'll try watching it with the ole lady. We don't do that enough anymore and from the sounds of it she'd prolly enjoy it with me.

Plus, Demi is a great actress that I love watching on screen.

I said the same thing but then there was this one scene where my eyes were kinda glued to the screen and I’d feel like I’d be in trouble if she saw how mezmorized I was by it. 😂

All my *** lovers know what I’m talking about .

Where they showed that one guys bare hairy ***. Yea I couldn’t look away .

Yeah there is a part of Demi's anatomy briefly in partial view in this movie that I'm not sure anyone but ironwez really wanted to happen to notice.:lol

I meant the obvious Weinstein.
Quaid's face even looks more like him than the late Liotta, which was the first cast for the role.

I sure did enjoy watching the parts of the movie that were thematically condemning the exploitation of the female form. :monkey3 :lol

Almost like it, and the pretty gratuitous nudity, was part of the sell of the movie.

In this day and age of vapid, unoriginal, sequels, prequels, remakes and reboots, the only genuine credit I could give this film was the director definitely has her own voice (albeit a rip-off of Kubrick and Cronenberg). Saying that, it wouldn't take much to stand out from the crowd these days.

But, it was a 15 minute movie stretched out over 2 hours; not enough meat on the bones and everything was sluggishly drawn out. And all the various gratuitous bits just got to the point of being silly. If it were done by a male director, they would have been crucified, not lauded as this has been.

Didn't hate it, but didn't really dig it. Again, I'm just happy that we finally have a writer/director/producer that's not a dimwitted sheep and can hopefully grow into a real auteur.
