I really hope that you know that I was being sarcastic. If gun control wasn't so ridiculous, she could have blasted that fool, or at least given the option. Whether or not she would have a gun or not, this type of stuff can happen outside of your house at any given time.

That is why you carry IN THE HOUSE too. Just a small gun or knife to either solve the problem or at least get you time to access a main weapon system or escape.

I agree. If a cop asks why you have a knife, just say "it's a tool".

It's a proven fact, if you disarm the population, the only people who will be armed are the bad guys.

If criminals know you are unarmed, they will break into your home/rob you knowing they have the upper hand.

You increase guns amongst the puplic (law abiding people) criminals will think twice about breaking into your home/robbing you.

It's proven the more guns around, the less amount of violence. Look at states with heavy gun restrictions, gun violence and robberies everywhere, more then areas with lots of guns.

Of course these idiot anti gun people can't inderstand that.

They have their pet NRA caricatures to ridicule and their Newtown massacres to wring their hands over, keeping themselves convinced of the blind dogma that only police will have guns if they're banned outright (as if the concept of only the government being armed isn't terrifying enough). It's wholesale evasion of reality, masquerading as enlightened concern for victims. If they gave a damn, they might take a moment to fire a synapse or two, but I suspect they only give a damn about preserving their own sense of moral superiority.
